Kirkfield lock is open, only a single unit is working however. ~20min to go down and ~50 minutes to go up. Phone ahead to find out schedule so you don't wait around. We've stayed at top and bottom, both very nice, windier at top. Be careful traversing Mitchell and Canal lakes as they are quite shallow.

Quite a busy lock, sometimes in fits and starts, but well managed. We typically stay at the bottom as we don't need power/water and it is quieter but there is still a highway above us a short distance away. Like most places they really need to start getting a handle on the goose poop! Not sure what Campbellford did but there were no geese there this year.

Great place, we always seem to stay here, convenient to Lakefield that has lots of shops, Foodland, LBCO, Beer Store, Home Hardware. As you come up the lock it looks small but will hold at least 10+ boats, only three power pedestals with 30amp however.

Stayed here for one night on the east side of the Margaret Island to get protection from a WSW wind. Good holding in mud in 6-7', quiet. Lots of weeds when leaving but mud came off easily. Wouldn't hesitate to use again, depending on wind direction.

Still one of our favourites. Campbellville appears to have done a lot to improve the place since 2021, more restaurants, park is clean, no vagrants any more. Town just feels cleaner. West wall going to upgrade to 50amp next year. Very courteous staff. Signs for boats if reservations made. Staff knows those coming via Nebo and was there to great by name. Could use more water taps.

Easy stay on upper side of Lock, now 30amp power on east and west sides, room for at least eight boats. Easy walk to town across the bridge. Bandstand in 'Tourist Park' on the west side, some good music while we were there. Pretty good meal at Dimitri's, well stocked Home Hardware.

Good marina, friendly young staff. Gas/Diesel and pump-out available. Also FREE laundry. There is a bar/restaurant on-site, didn't try it but they had some good music. The slips are short and narrow but adequate. Mostly caters to smaller boats definitely doable for us. Multiple bike/walking trails in the area.

Had a nice spot on the East wall, plenty of rings, some with rope (wouldn't use those). No power or water. There were about eight of us East of the bridge, probably could have put more if we bunched up. Had lunch at the Pancake House, was very good. Not a big town and quite touristy with circus rides a couple of hundred yards away, didn't bother us wrt noise however.

There is room for three boats on the West end docks, if people share. We ended up using the East end wooden bulkhead, not as bad as first thought, must be very careful getting off/on boat however. We have 12" diameter fenders which worked well and there are at least two working electrical stands with 50 amps, so we enjoyed A/C during a very humid/hot afternoon. The stands are slimmer than normal and grey, no water. There is no laundry, at least we couldn't find it, there is a laundromat up near the Freedom Mall although we didn't try it. Lots of goose poop the last day we were there and always quite a few people fishing. We stayed two days so we could see Fort Stanwix and get haircuts. Be away the water is quite shallow everywhere in this area, i.e. 7'.

The free-floating docks with power on the south side are longer there. There is room for three boats on the East facing part of the same facility. No power, no water, rings and bollards, bring your long ropes and big fenders. Easy walk/bike into town. This is where Beech-Nut Foods was started, for those of certain generation. The Arkel family created a wonderful museum, worth visiting. Also visit the 'boiling pots' just outside of town, take your bathing suits. The 'dummy' light in the middle of Montgomery, Church, and Empire State Trail was removed last year; it was a pedestrian signal in the middle of a five-way intersection.

We stayed on the free wall just West of Lock E11 on the North side, Guy Park State Historic Site. The wall is rough concrete but using long ropes and big fenders it shouldn't be a problem. Lots of space for many boats in a park setting. The only downside is the railway and freeway noise which you get used to, at least we did. There are three power pedestals which worked for us, not for our friends however, they always seem to have power issues. Russo's Grill across the park, ~200 yds, is worth the walk, had excellent meal with lots left over. There is also a Liquor store close by if needed. They are rebuilding the Guy Park Manor which was built in 1774.

No electric, no water, no pump-out. $5 pump-out at Little Falls Marina just West of the lock. Easy walk/bike into town on either the NY Bike Rte or via Moss Island. Great little town, Museum is only open MWF and there is an Architectural tour, well worth it. Ruggiero's Trattoria is a great place to eat, good value, lots of food. Price Chopper is on main street and Canal Place has a few good artsy stores.

We stayed two days on the floating docks, not sure I'd stay on the concrete docks as they are very high and make it difficult to get off/on your boat. No power on concrete section, miscellaneous power on the floating docks, i.e. some 50 amp some 30 amp. Downtown is really suffering but good grocery and liquor store across the bridge. Hannaford groceries allows you to take a cart to the marina, just tell them you need it unlocked so it can go past their parking lot. There is a pump-out area of the dock, didn't try. docks fill up by early afternoon.

There's not much around but the water taxi is here, grocery store within biking distance, as is West Marine. Now connected to Coinjock marina so they gave us a 20% discount for staying there. Don't know if it's reciprocal. Unfortunately we had to leave early to catch a weather window and they were unwilling to credit us the last of four days slip fees.

Spent four days at this anchorage, caught first time, mud that came off reasonably easy when leaving, some oyster shells. There were nine boats anchored while there and still room for more. Better option than St. Michael harbor. Easy dingy to plastic dingy dock in St. Michael where there appears to be a kayak club. Great little town with lots of stores/restaurants. Ava Pizzeria is 5 star, especially the tomato bisque. Lemoncello is also good. Rum distillery, winery, brewery, car museum. Make sure you plan a half day for the Chesapeake Marine Museum, best one yet.

Power was a little dicey and went out a few times, switched to another pole and didn't have an issue. Facilities were ok, good but not great. We were there two weeks before Memorial day and were stranded for a week due to weather, not much else to do, even with electric bikes. Marina has a clothing store and bar with entertainment and some minor provisioning. Staff were very friendly and helpful however. This is likely the best of the marinas as the others closer to town appear to only cater to charters. Dinner at Sonny's was a very good. Note; do not come in the ferry channel, very narrow, we went aground at R12a and polished our props, lots of ferry traffic and not much room to pass.

I wouldn't even attempt to anchor here. The entire channel up to the steel mill appears to be live-a-boards. We tried six times with our Mantus M2 105# and couldn't get it to set. I'm assuming the bottom is really soft silty mud. The wind from the west was quite strong with little protection except the smell of the paper plant. If we had gotten out our Fortress FX37 and set the mud flaps we might have had more success but due to wind it wasn't worth it. We ended up at Georgetown Landing. None of the marinas along the channel appear to be able to take a boat our size, all seem to be

No room in McClellanville. Easy in/out at G25. We tried to anchor upstream in Five Fathom Creek but we found it too narrow for us, not enough swing room for rode we put out. We ended up right in the middle of the fork. Shrimp boats got by easily in the evening and morning, waked us at 05:00. Exposed to all winds but quiet. There were comments about using a trip line due to traps/wire in water, didn't find that, anchor came up clean.

This is a small city marina with only ~10 slips, all the interior ones are too shallow, i.e. 3' or less. They are waiting on dredging but caught up in environmental approvals. Close to Aquarium and also the International African American Museum which is closed until at least June 2023. Easy walk to free DASH bus to Information Center and then free bus to downtown. Harris Tweeter within walking/biking. There is significant wake however, they even attempt to put wake attenuation across the entrance at night, doesn't do much. No water on the south dock as there is a leak in the pipes, they will provide a hose if you ask. Free laundry which is always nice. The tour boat lineups overlook your boat if you're on the south docks. We like it.

There is no security to be seen, no bathrooms, water, laundry, pump-out, fuel, etc. but great locations to see Savannah. They appear to be free and in good condition. Dock Master said water/power were shut off because of COVID and has not been turned on. There are power pedestals but they are not active. Dock accessibly down a ramp from the public walkway. Very few boats here. Very quiet and google shows the area under construction but that has now been completed and it's an upscale condo/apartment complex. Within walking distance of downtown. Nice walking path along river to get to River Street downtown.

This necessitated getting into the small basin and doing a 360, 54' LOA in what feels like a 70' basin, managed to bang our swim platform on the docks and pull out on e of the smallish cleats. Very exposed to most winds, some boats were bouncing uncomfortably with 20mph winds for two days, we were on lee of concrete dock which helped a lot. We had 50amp power but it did trip several times, looks like they have the new EFCIs. Very close to all shops and downtown entertainment.

Strong current so boat isn't always where you expect, we had 5 others at the anchorage and we were well spaced. We were well northwest of Buoy R4. Getting in from the south stay south of Red 8B, Navionics took us north for a 180 degree turn but it looked shallow. Exited north along the shore and rejoined AICW. Quiet. We anchored North of the mooring field for three days and tied-up dingy at the municiple park. We did use a cable and lock to secure the dingy but others didn't. Very large anchorage, seems to be mostly live-a-boards. Enterprise car rentals about 1mile walk through downtown, won't pick-up for some reason. Took car to Kennedy Space Center, worthwhile, need an entire day. Only downside was we did see one live-a-boards dump their black water, according to local sheriff this is a problem they haven't figured out how to solve.

We stayed here several days in a blow, it is sheltered but not perfectly, still wind coming over the trees. Anchor held well, there were 11+ boats in the basin. Others had anchored in Brigantine Bay and in the old marina basin. There is nothing left of the old marina, many houses blown away. Many empty lots and damaged houses, although some rebuilding. Easy dingy ride to old marina, small food mart, liquor store, gift store and Cafe la Florence restaurant. Across the road is the spectacular Treasure Cay beach, can walk for miles.\ on nice hard flour like sand at the waters edge. The There was no-one collecting $$ for mooring or anchoring. The five mooring balls were unused and didn't look maintained. The fuel dock on the way in appears to be working and the chain across the entrance looks like it's being used also, a dozen or so red buoys strung across. Some wake from passing tour boats.

Dingy'd in to the 'Art Walk' (southern edge of beach) and the 'Ocean Beach' (northern edge of beach) trails. Local home owners (30yrs) were very friendly but unsure if access will continue as there is a new property owner. Southport Raw Bar has a decent breakfast after which we did all our shopping and shore chores. Would return.

Spent six nights recently, very quiet, not many transients. People were great, well stocked chandlery, $5 pump-out. There are not a lot of facilities, very public showers, single washer/dryer, docks look like they need some major capital infusion. A five mile bike rider into Key Biscayne or $12 Uber, lots of services there. Biked along Crandon Beach, was empty but midweek, can imagine being crowded in summer. Key Biscayne Tennis facility, hosts many tournaments. We used Kyte for car rental and went into Miami, there is a $2.25 toll to get back onto Key Biscayne, not sure what the admin charge is going to be.

We stopped here, nice place, some noise from new highway. Our anchor skipped a little before catching but then held all night with some current reversal. Didn't test wifi or cell service. There were several power boats that blew right past us within 50' at 20+mph, inconsiderate but expected in Florida. Pretty good protection from East wind, not so much from other direction.

We spent December/January and really enjoyed ourselves. We did have friends staying in 'old town' and it was an easy ebike there and to get provisions and to other restaurants. Lots of amenities. David H. has some points, it isn't in the nicest neighborhood, nor is there a view, also everywhere in KW in on a flight path to somewhere, you get used to it, conversation stops for the 15 seconds it takes planes to fly over. That being said is it not cheap compared to Marathon but less than Galleon or A&B, and KW is so much nicer a place than anywhere else in the Keys but you pay for it. Would definitely come back.

Enter from the North and stay very close (100') off the west shore for the first several hundred yards, there is a large shoal to the east. Exit the same way, I wouldn't exit to the South as Navionics suggested.Take the circuitous routing with deep water all the way in. Lots of swing room, there were two boats the night we were there, room for many more. Quiet. Some Easterly protection but not much South or West.

We had a reservation for the night after our Gulf crossing and it was declined when we arrived, claiming someone else had reserved ahead of us. They are friends and did not make that reservation before us. I was practically accused of lying. Very disappointed. Great location and good price but wouldn't recommend.

Initial price was $2.5/ft, quite high but we were just off a Gulf crossing. When I queried the bill they said it was $3.5/ft this year plus 3.75% non-cash charge and I assume a 7% sales tax. Classic Bait & Switch. Minimal facilities, no laundry, no bathrooms. Note the TS Municipal is $2/ft. It really gave us a bad impression of Tarpon Springs.

Great quiet anchorage, can easily fit 6+ boats. Had a bonfire onshore one night when only three of us were there. Don't turn too soon while entering, go past the second red buoy!!!

Great place, great docks, great helpful staff. Jeremy gave a 2.5hr talk every night about what to expect going down river, very informative. Used the courtesy car to re-provision.

Free, we used a 20' bike chain/lock to secure us to a cleat, didn't feel unsafe as their is a police station close by but took no chances. Great little town, worth visiting. Bring chaffing gear.

While staying at DuSable we wandered over and used our NOAA membership to gain entrance and have lunch. Great old ship from Nova Scotia, got tour by the office admin, would recommend for a meal/drinks.

Great location, very close to bike/ebike racks, careful of these, charges can be quite large on an ebike. The bathrooms are definitely 'prison' description, laundry room was a very small closet. They were too understaffed to help us dock in a Small Boat Advisory with 40knot winds when we arrived. Easy walking to downtown, grocery store and Navy Pier.

Great marina, well kept and friendly/helpful staff. Easy check-in. Only stayed one night. Warren Wolf of Wolf Marine came and picked us up and returned us to the marina after doing shopping at his store.

Long way in from the lake but very staff were very helpful and friendly, quite a small marina. Very skinny entrance to marina but do-able, staff walked us through it. No security but didn't think we needed it. Saugatuck is a fabulous little town, wouldn't hesitate to go back again. One of our favorite stops.

We had a great time here, great walking area, no security but didn't feel we needed it. City has done a great job with the waterfront. Some wakes from passing boats but that didn't bother us. If there is a west wind be wary as there can be significant swell even this far into the river, day after us had several boats damaged.

Spent a lot of time in Ludington waiting for engine work to be completed, not their issue. Very competent and friendly staff. Great maritime museum. Long walk to almost everything as transient is furthest out, good exercise however, great ice-cream store. Have done a good job on the whole waterfront.

We stayed for a week having some electrical and engine work done. Traverse city has lots of shopping and restaurants/bars. We were on the 'wall' which wasn't a problem for use but it doesn't have a lot of security. Laundry rooms were great. Our only problem wasn't with the marina but with the city, no Uber/Lyft, no decent bus services out of downtown, paid $30 taxi each way to get to airport, paid $25 taxi to get new keys cut (3mile trip), wish we'd had ebikes.

We love Petoskey. Marina is basic but has all the amenities we need, laundry, water, electricity. It was understaffed when we arrived with only a single person working but she was very helpful and efficient. Loaner bikes were nice, used them several times. A great little town.

We really liked being close, there was significant ferry wake, not sure why they don't tell them to slow down close to into the harbor, put out all our fenders and didn't have a problem. Didn't use the showers but staff was very friendly. Wonderful place, make sure you pay to get into the Grand Hotel, drinks on the deck and cupola aren't cheap but it's a once in lifetime. Rented bikes and rode around the entire island, well worth it. Previous trips we have rented a horse/carriage and had a great time.

Quiet, we had 7' of water at anchor mark, very low water levels in Oct2022. Not much protection from west wind but otherwise great place.
