We just stopped for fuel, and the staff was very helpful. With the tide change, the current can rip through there, and you're exposed to the wind. But overall, it was easy to get in and out and there was good service.

HarborWalk was booked so stayed here. Docks need some tlc. Mainly offshore fishing boats. We were on the t head. Pretty rough current, but had a nice night. Took local taxi to town. Lots of cute restaurants. Noseeums and gnats were pretty bad around the marshy area waiting for taxi.

Easy entry. Great stay, helpful staff. Watch the current, can be tricky.

Nice marina, friendly folk. Easy bike into town, a little longer walk than we'd like. Wooden docks are needing some work, all transients are kept out in the outer dock, apparently a 2yr waiting list to get on a permanent dock, mostly sport fishers. Exposed to south/east/west winds. Good on-site chandlery. Great little town with lots of restaurants, museums and shopping. Lots of oak tree covered streets, beautiful. Yamaha dealer just down the road with lots of marine equipment. Local mechanic, Marcus 858-431-6435, came out next day and fixed our bow thruster for a very reasonable charge.

Very nice marina with everything you need for a stay of a couple of days to long term. Marina was a short bike ride away from town with lots of shops and restaurants to visit.
Not many live aboards here. Seems a lot of sport fishing boats (big boats!) here and they own the slips. Good gig if you can get it.
    Restrooms were clean and functional.
Dockhands were friendly and helpful, as well as the office staff.
Docks are little dated, but they work. Power and water adequate.
Only down side is the exposure to the boat traffic and wind coming off the sound. Most boats don't abide by the "no wake zone", and you and the docks tend to bounce around quite a bit. But it quiets down at night, so no issue sleeping.
Definitely a place I'd stay again.

The dock hand was very helpful. Their main business is Sport Fish with lots of trash cans and cleaning stations. Easy on and off the transient dock parallel to the current. Town in 1 mile walk. Things to see: Rice Museum, Maritime Museum, Harbor Shop for embroidered items. Several good resturants.

Nice T head to fuel. Dock hands said the currents can be over 10mph ( I can believe that). A short bike ride on side walks to Georgetown. Fun town to visit. I highly recommend it.

Easy, long, floating face dock made it easy to tie up, dockhands very helpful. Marina is not fancy, caters to the sport fishing crowd, but it has everything you need for a quick stop. It was an easy one mile walk to a park/ playground.

Not located downtown. Face docks. Decent facilities and ships store. Help arrives too late. Long walk to bathrooms.

Great Marina! Easy on and off on the long face dock. We stayed here for a big blow - I think we had 35-40kts one night. I have read the reviews about the dock and can say that we did not have any discomfort. We are a heavy Hans Christian which may have made the difference, but we were very comfortable. We did notice that the connecting dock from the fixed to floating moves a bit when the wind is over the current- but we felt that was the safest thing- if it didn’t move it would be a problem. The staff are great - super friendly, attentive and accommodating. Easy walk to town. Car rental right around the corner - we drove to Charleston and therefore we didnt feel we needed to stop there - this is a great stop ! Highly recommend and we will be back

Georgetown Landing Marina is a great stop just off of the ICW. What the marina lacks, the town makes up for...making it a worthwhile stop! The transient dock is old and gets rocked significantly by every passing boat.

Georgetown is a short walk through some beautiful old neighborhoods. We really enjoyed dining and shopping, as well as looking at all of the historical buildings in the area.

Overall, we would return to GLM but probably try to avoid weekends as there was probably more traffic passing by and waking us regularly.

The transient dock is also very exposed and would be extremely uncomfortable in bad weather (although we did not experience this first hand.)

Stopped here on southbound trip to Jacksonville, FL in Jan, 2020. We had plenty of help on the dock with 3 dock hands. The facilities were very clean and the staff was happy to see us. Downtown Georgetown is about a mile walk and a large Dollar General is much closer (1/4 mi) for supplies. We spent 2 nights due to weather. As mentioned many times, this is a pretty exposed marina, especially winds out of the S or SW. We experienced it firsthand (25+ knot winds) and it made for some rocky days/nights. Also, the current is very strong here. I would recommend Georgetown Landing Marina if you have favorable weather and looking to get some walking in.

I use this marina when I can't get one downtown. It's fine but it's exposed to a south wind which can make the long facedock uncomfortable. The walk into town is amost a mile but the marina does have loaner bicycles to use.

The manager of the marina is very nice, the facilities are marginal (especially considering the cost). Transients tie up on the outer dock which is exposed to the outer current which runs pretty strong. On the day we were there, the two dock hands were very poor. They were not at all helpful on the landing, and while getting fuel one of the dock hands sat on a trash barrel and engaged the other in endless conversation. He ultimately crushed the trash can and seemed unconcerned. I would only go back here if I had no other choice.

If you can't get a dock in town, this is an alternative. The downside is that it's exposed to a south wind big time, you will rock.

Decent main dock, but exposed. Good bathrooms & facilities in general. Restaurant at location closed. No usable Wifi out on docks. Staff friendly, but not too knowledgeable; need to learn how to tie onto a dock cleat properly, for example.
