We docked here for 2 nights in mid April. It was easy to get to and the staff was very helpful getting us in and orientated to the area. There does not seem to be too much current in this area. The historic Downtown is 1 block away and has shops and restaurants. We ate at Reid's Apothecary and Bubba Garcia's. Both were great. There are many other choices if you have more time. The bathrooms were good and they are located at either end. Laundry is free. The marina fronts a large park so it was very pet friendly and also had a large fenced dog park. The marina hosts happy hour several times a week and we just happened to be there for the April birthday celebrations. It was fun and we got to meet great people. Easy fuel and pump out on the way out. What more could you ask for!

Great helpful staff that loves dogs and knows how to help dock. Dog "cookies" in the office, we were reminded to visit often. Free laundry, showers laundry and restrooms by dock 1 and dock 10 and air conditioned. Club house is by dock 10 for social events. It is .4 miles from dock 1 however. Fenced dog park by dock 1. Would definitely stay here again.

The Velcro Marina! so called because once you visit you stick, and don't want to leave! We had a wonderful stay here over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality! Happy Hour on Friday after we arrived, Christmas potluck brunch on Sunday, Christmas dinner Christmas day with chicken and ham and WI e and beer provided by the marina! There is a great community here of full time residents and longer stay transients that make for a really fun friendly welcoming atmosphere! Facilities are excellent and well maintained and the staff are great! We will definitely stop here again on our way back north.

Friendly staff were dockside as I negotiated strong winds as I "afted" in between a couple of longer vessels and they kept me from meeting my new neighbors. Clean marina with good equipment. Very sociable community here. We did not venture from the marina to know anything about the town but nonetheless felt very secure in the area and enjoyed our stay.

This review is mainly for yard storage which is located at the end of the fairway into the marina. Ann and I had to cut our trip north short last spring due to my shoulder injury and I had to quickly find a place to store Fleetwing over the summer.
Although I had given no prior notice, BLM took me in and hauled Fleetwing as I needed. The crew is as professional as any I've ever met and put Fleetwing in the yard with the option of tie down straps (6 all around) anchored to concrete in the ground - an option I took in view of the possibility of hurricanes over the summer. It turned out to be a wise choice since hurricane Idalia hit in August - a rare event for Brunswick, I'm told. Fleetwing survived the hurricane without damage as did all the boats in the yard that had tie down straps.
I had work done by the yard to repair a leaky through hull and to polish the prop. Both were done professionally and the through hull no longer leaks. A previous repair of the through hull by another boat yard had resulted in not repairing the leak.
The yard has WiFi so you can install a webcam to keep track of your boat if desired. I had a dehumidifier on board to prevent mildew and the boat yard checked every day to ensure it was getting electricity. Water is also available at the yard although I had no need of it.
You are allowed to work on your boat above the waterline, they have to do any work below the waterline due to EPA restrictions. I refinished my teak without a problem.
If you have a dinghy and it's not on davits, it must be stored on the foredeck - which I did. The yard provided help in putting the dinghy up on deck and in returning it to water after launch.
I would not hesitate to use the yard again, the crew is very professional and take good care of your boat, both in hauling and launching as well as while on land.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Nice place, friendly staff. Stayed for five days while we visited friends in Atlanta. Rented car from local Turo as no-one else was close. We were at the fuel dock which has no electric which was fine by us. They have free 'happy hour' MWF which is a nice feature. Laundry is also free. Unfortunately there is a pulp/paper mill just north and depending on wind there can be distinct odor.

I spent just one night at this marina. The staff very kindly helped me dock and tie up the boat. The dock facilities are adequate, although I did not pay for or use the power connection. I did top off my water tank, however. The restroom, lounge, and laundry facilities were clean and well kept. The place is dog friendly -- there's a private, fenced-in dog park on/near the premises. The docks are locked behind gates; you get a key fob to access them and the other facilities. The deposit for the key fob is immediately charged to your Dockwa account and refunded when you return it.
The marina is walking distance from the town of Brunswick, which seems to have many shops and restaurants. I walked several blocks and back; it was a pleasant walk on a warm afternoon. Unfortunately, most shops were closed on the Sunday I arrived and I left too early the next day to explore again. Although someone else here mentioned homeless people on the street, I did not encounter any. I never felt unsafe in town or at the marina.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

This was a great marina in 95% of the areas. The marina itself was extremely clean, safe, and well run. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We were well taken care of for a one night stay. It seems to be a great place for a longer stay as well. It's close to the ICW and a bit of a hidden gem! The small downtown area had some nice shops and several restaurants. The only slight negative was the amount of homeless people on the streets. One harassed my wife out for a Sunday morning walk which was a bit scary for her. Use caution. The marina is well gated so we felt very safe on the boat.

We stayed here for about 5 months. Top things about the marina include the happy hour on M, W, F with free wine and beer. The marina also provides activities for holidays and special days (for example Margarita Day). Happy hour is a great social time to meet new cruisers and made many new friends. The marina staff all worked great with us and were able to help anytime we needed it. The docks are in great condition and are floating docks. Each dock has a gate that requires a key fob to get in and there are security guards that walk the marina at night. The bathrooms around dock 14 (North end of marina) are ok but there is only one for men and one for women. This is not enough for all the people on the docks on that end. From what I understand the marina is about to remodel and add more to that bathhouse. The bathhouse at the yacht club is 5 star. The yacht club provides comfy areas for watching TV, playing board games, and nice free laundry area. There is also a laundry room on the South end of the marina. The marina is within walking distance (about 2 miles) of a Winn-Dixie but Wal-mart does do delivery here. I used Wal-Mart delivery several times. Downtown is just a short walk away which has several restaurants and a few stores. There is a nice brewery and rum distillery downtown. Arte pizza is within walking distance and was one of our favorites. Some of the downtown restaurants provide a discount by showing the marina key fob. There is also a small West Marine about 2 miles away. Not alot of options there but we did have items shipped to the West Marine and to the marina. The marina does provide free bikes to use in very nice shape (not rusted out). The marina is also very willing to accept packages you have mailed there. With all the live aboards at this marina they stay very busy with packages coming in.

Rating this marina with only 5 stars doesn't do it justice!!
Annie and I have been in the mega/super yacht industry as Chef/Captain for many decades and have lived dockside for most of them. So when we say this marina is amazing, its from experience! Now that we are semi retired and cruising onboard Drunken Monkeys on our DIME! We seek the best marina value/experiences we can and are so glad we made the stop here. The original plan was to stop for a few weeks and we ended up staying for months. We even decided to haul out in their great boatyard for the remainder of the 2022 hurricane season.
The BLM team "Kyle, Ciara, Vibert, Matt, Adam & Michael" are truly there to make your stay a great one. They go out of there way to help and make you feel at home in BLM. This is one of a very few marinas that is truly oriented towards cruisers/liveaboards.
Not to go unmentioned: Free is not a word you hear often in yachting!!! Let me share a few things that are totally free yes free at BLM… on Mon, Wed, Fri evenings there is free Wine/Beer for everyone, free courtesy bikes, free pump outs, dog park, free laundry.. there are even gas BBQ grills at the end of every dock with great seating areas.. and the list goes on!!
Add BLM to your east coast itinerary you won't regret it!!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

I can't believe there aren't more reviews of this place. What a great marina. The showers are super clean and updated. Free laundry, happy hour MWF with free beer and wine. The owner goes out of his way to help you with anything. They are constantly holding events for the boaters. You are within walking distance of the downtown area with great restaurants. The docks are floating and well maintained with gates just recently added. We will be here for hurricane season this year. We have been here since May and really enjoy all the cruiser activities and things available and great facilities.

Called service dock several times during 1st week of July. Had to leave message and never a reply. Looking for bottom painting before heading north. We figured no call back due to Elsa approaching the area. Left Jacksonville and headed north. On way past Fernandina Beach, hit ground in channel near marker 12 and 13. Damaged rudders. Called Brunswick Landing and were referred to Service number. Called left message regarding our now damaged boat. We had minimal steering and had to get to a marina with capabilities to haul our boat. No answer. Called marina office. Was told there was no room even overnight and that the service area was backlogged 2-3 weeks. Offered no other solutions. Apparently they are the only game in town so to speak for this area to haul our 48' Bayliner. Had heard this marina was very helpful. Too bad that was not our experience. We made it to Jekyll Harbor Marina where we will try to determine our options.

Can walk to town for several restaurants (we had fantastic Brunswick stew and beef stew takeout from Nautica Joes). Only three stars because town seemed a little tired and when the wind died out the bugs came out in the marina which is across from a marsh.

This was not an intentional stop but we needed to make some repairs. The marina is very accommodating, it's a short walk to the historic district where several places give discounts. They have free bikes, a nice lounge, free washing machines and dryers. The dock side pump out is a bit expensive and the electric at .23/kwh is the most we have ever paid. Key West wasn't near as much. Very well protected from storms so ++
Our understanding is there is a lot more to do when COVID isn't a player.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Overall, a great live aboard community. Well maintained docks, walking distance to downtown, free beer daily (wine 3x a week), free laundry, loaner bikes, great bath suites and great lounge space.
We're knocking a star off however for lack of in-slip pump out - even to this day they advertise a DIY cart you can use for free. However, when we inquired they told us they discontinued that some time ago - and the only option is paying them $35 to come to you, or moving your boat to the fuel dock for a free pump out. Thankfully our dock was near the onshore facilities - but some are quite a walk!
We also were caught off guard by their .23/kwh electric rates - seemed steep compared to rates we've paid elsewhere. With temps peaking into the 100s, that added up quickly to a $200/month electric bill (most we've ever paid in summer months in Florida was $95/month for metered electric.)View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
