We stayed here again for a few days on our way back North. We really enjoy this marina. We booked the stay online which gets you a discount for multi-day stays. They were not really thrilled to book us to stay there because we are a catamaran and complain because we take up 2 slips...but they put us on an end dock. We booked 4 day stay online but only ended up staying 3 due to good weather window. They do not refund your money. They will credit your account for a future stay...so before we left we went to the store and changed the credit amount to the boat slip. Still enjoyed the area. Turtle creek is a must. The pool is very nice but was really cold the last day we were there. There is a hot tub but children were doing cannon balls into it the last day we were there and no parents around.

Great marina in the Bahamas. We loved this area and was easy to walk to everything needed. Grocery store, hardware store, couple of marine stores, and beaches were an easy walk. The Wreckers restaurant is great food and has awesome happy hour drink specials. The marina does rent golf carts but they didn't' have any available when were were there. We just used our scooters that we have on board and got us all around the island. The Shipyard restaurant was also a good restaurant. Staff at the marina was always helpful and friendly.

Great Marina and great staff. This was a nice quiet spot. There are 2 areas in the marina area with nice beaches and 1 pool. There is one restaurant on site and also a pizza food truck that is only open certain days on weekends. They also do car rentals out of the marina which was quick and easy. The showers and restroom were great and always clean. They are adding new washers and dryers which were not opened yet when we stayed. The machines are there just not hooked up so not sure on the prices. This marina was $3.50 per ft. Great little grocery and alcohol spot for small items in the marina office.

Just because you read that this is a Sandals Marina and floating docks, don't expect it to be a high quality marina. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The staff would receive a 5 star rating. This marina is owned by Sandals but they do not appear to provide any upkeep to the marina. Something breaks..."O well". It is within walking distance to a Sandals Resort but you do not get access to any of the amenities unless you pay $350 per day per person which does not include dinner. You can get a room at Sandals for little over $400 a day per person. The Grand Ile resort is the closest resort which you can get a day pass for $75ish which just gets you towels, 2 pools, and use of beach toys. These both seem high for what you get. There is beach access at the Grand Ile resort which is a beautiful spot. There are also a couple of great restaurants on the Grand Ile Resort that you can eat at. There is a pool on the grounds of the marina but they do not allow marina guests to use it. It is reserved for the Sandals dive shop...so it usually only has people in it of a morning but no one can use it at other times. Would be nice if it would open in the afternoon for cruisers. Most of the docks are in very poor shape. Missing several cleats, many docks don't have access to power or water. There are no dock carts to carry supplies back to your boat. The dock hands are very nice and will help with the golf carts if you ask. A majority of the lights around the marina are not working so be sure to carry a flashlight when walking at night. The docks can be difficult to get around since they are missing cleats. Lines are tied all the way across docks which is difficult to get around during the day and very unsafe at night. It's pretty bad when the security guard asks you to leave the lights on in the top of the club house to provide the light to see outside the marina. This marina gets alot of surge which can be very rolly inside. I have heard about several boats having cleats ripped off from the surge. The club House upstairs had a very nice area to hang out except they do not run the air or it is not working so very hot. Even a few fans would help but heat rises so it get pretty hot in the afternoon. The club house had a TV room, bar room (never open just nice place to hang out when not too hot), and pool table area. The pool sticks are in horrible condition with no tips, broken tips,... Also there is no cue ball. The showers and restrooms are a joke. They are rarely clean. I watch the lady leave from cleaning then went in to shower. The shower drain was still full of hair and bugs on the walls. They are very hot and stuffy from no ventilation. Out of 5 showers only 3 were functioning for the 30+ days we stayed here. They would not even replace the lights in some of them. One of 3 showers barely gets luke warm water. The only positives I can say are the free laundry (which stays very busy) and the great staff. The price listed on the website is not accurate so call to check price before booking. Especially if you are a catamaran. The office said they have requested for Sandals to change the website but Sandals hasn't done it.

We stayed on a mooring ball here in the North Field for 4 days. The restaurant was great but the drinks were very high priced. We did enjoy the Peanut Pina Coloda. We also enjoyed the specials they had for the Super Bowl Sunday Party. The chicken wings were very small but had very good flavor. The buffet was a good amount of food and had some very good fish, chicken, and ribs. The mooring field was rolling a little at times but not too bad. The last night the winds shifted to coming from N/ NE. All boats who were near the current were swining in lots of directions all night. We were swinging over the top of our mooring ball. Also a couple of nights with winds 20 to 25, the people anchored in the current were dragging in the North anchorage. There are 3 nearby grocery stores all very well stocked. We got some amazing local made bread at the Pink Store. The mooring balls are first come first serve so pick up a ball then head into the office to register and pay.

We stayed here for 8 days and enjoyed everything. They have a restaurant that was priced a little high for us but we did visit the beach bar. The bar tenders were great and always friendly. You can order some small dishes from the beach bar/ limited menu. The marina has free bikes to use that are in very good shape and lots of place to bike around the island. They also have golf carts for rent. The dock hands and staff were mostly all very friendly. There is a grocery store that stayed pretty well stocked while were there. Nothing is priced so you have to ask or just buy. They do have charcoal grills available to use and charcoal for sale in the store. We stayed for 8 nights. There is no special deal for staying a week and they could not tell us the price per night until we arrived. It ended up being about $3.50 per foot. There is a per day charge for electric. For 50 amp it is $69 per day after VAT. There is also a charge per gallon for water. This marina has very nice showers and restrooms... but be careful no locks on the doors. There are some strings rigged to try to keep people from coming in on you. The restrooms are cleaned early each day. This marina does sell fuel. Be sure to check out the crows nest. It is the gym for the island and there are beautiful views from there...relaxing spot. There are also restrooms at the crows nest. We loved every spot on this island so be sure to get out and explore.

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The staff and dock hands were awesome. Dock hands were always friendly and willing to help with any needs. Dock hands did a great job helping get us in but marina made us stop at the fuel dock first even though it was very busy. The fuel was $5.47 before VAT. Electricity was $0.65 per Kwh and they also have water available but not sure on price since we did not use it. This marina seems to be very busy on the weekends due to charter boats returning and leaving. Lots of charter boats out of this marina. Showers and restroom was always open and clean. Great laundry facility and fairly priced. Laundry was $1.50 per load. Dryers also worked great. They have free use of a car but you have to sign up for it ahead of time. Two pools on site and one is an adult only pool with tiki bar. The pools were chilly most of the days we were there but very nice area. They also have a nice beach area with lounge chairs. Great restaurant on site and the Dock Side Café has great lunch and breakfast options with a coffee shop. The marina stay included the resort fee for 2 people for the week. You can add more on to the resort fee and I believe they said it was $11 per day per person. This gives you access to the pools and the beach. There is construction going on in the area but when that is finished it will be a quiet area except on the weekends when the charter groups are coming in. Solomon's Grocery store within walking distance but that is only thing close in this area. The marina does have a little store in the Dock Side Cafe that has a few supplies. Some snacks, drinks, and toiletry needs.

We stayed at this resort on our boat in the marina. Great stay for little over a week. Dock hands and staff were very nice and super friendly. Nice floating docks in great shape. There is a separate charge for water and electric. There is also an additional charge if you run your generator in the marina. Showers and restrooms were very nice. The only problem is they are only open from 7AM to 7PM. When the marina is busy, it can create long lines for the shower at night. There is a restaurant in the hotel and also another one on the property. There is a grocery store and gift shop. The grocery store was well stocked for the area, and prices seemed ok. They do have golf carts for rent but very nice area for walking. They also have a first aid station with a nurse and EMT with a doctor they can call. Golf cart rides were provided to the airport and Nauti Rooster restaurant upon request. This marina also has police on property. Be sure to check out Turtle Creek while you are there. The hotel provides towels for the pool and hot tub. To use the resort facilities you have to pay a resort fee. This was $19 for each of us. This fee is good for 1 year. The beach area of the resort is very nice and they have chairs on the beach. There is a bar in the hotel and also a bar at the pool. If the resort is not busy the pool bar seems to be closed but they hotel bar is very close.

Stayed here for a week. Dock hands and staff are great. They have a laundry area but we did not use it. The restrooms/showers need a little more work. I feel like they only keep the sink and toilets clean. The floors are always soaked and spiderweb with dead bugs in the showers. The wall could use a little paint or a wash down. The shower curtains are cut and barely cover the shower. They really need to be replaced due to mildew. They provided an excellent map of the area and spots to see. They should provide more info on the cruiser activities they advertise on the website. We were never invited to them. So we arrived on a Monday and stayed through another Monday. Never saw the "potluck". Have no clue what the pizza night is. We did finally see the Friday night music and food but we had already cooked on the boat. The marina is pretty quiet. We were able to buy eggs from one of the dock hands which was great because they did not have any at the grocery stores. There are some bikes avaliable for use but only some of them are good enough to ride. Several had flat tires. There are 2 grocery stores in town and a couple of liquor stores. Be sure to check out Coolie Mae's restaurant and Backside Bar (best Jerk wings). Customs and immigration were awesome and were at the marina when we arrived. The cost is reasonable and the island is amazing. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to visit this amazing island. Locals on the island are so friendly.

We stayed here for a week on a T dock. The staff and dock hands were amazing. They were all helpful, friendly, very welcoming. The office has some good souvenirs/wine/snacks and some basic boat repair supplies (hose clamps, lines, oil...) The restrooms/ showers have all been remodeled and look very nice but there is a lack of hot water. Showers would start out just warm and then got chilly before finishing in both the men's and women's restrooms. They do have laundry and a grocery store within walking distance. Nice screened in spot to relax. The docks are wood fixed docks. The dock boards are starting to get a little rough. Some of the docks have alot of boat work materials left on the docks even though each spot is given a box. There is alot of noise from the parks on both sides especially the north end which is fine during the day but got a bit much at night. There is a dog park there. There is alot of traffic going in and out after dark. Several fishing boats go in at the boat ramp quickly creating wake for the docks. Marina is not well protected and dock A received alot of rolling. Great brewery within walking distance and a few other restaurants within walking distance. The bathrooms/showers for the marina were very clean and require a key card to get in. There are public restroom right there in the same area. The docks do not have gated access so everyone can walk the docks. The marina is staffed 24hrs a day but they did not appear to be walking the docks or providing any security for the boats. There is a pretty strong current flowing through making it a little bumpy since the breakwater dock was damaged during the hurricane. The marine is working to get this fixed.

We stayed here for about 5 months. Top things about the marina include the happy hour on M, W, F with free wine and beer. The marina also provides activities for holidays and special days (for example Margarita Day). Happy hour is a great social time to meet new cruisers and made many new friends. The marina staff all worked great with us and were able to help anytime we needed it. The docks are in great condition and are floating docks. Each dock has a gate that requires a key fob to get in and there are security guards that walk the marina at night. The bathrooms around dock 14 (North end of marina) are ok but there is only one for men and one for women. This is not enough for all the people on the docks on that end. From what I understand the marina is about to remodel and add more to that bathhouse. The bathhouse at the yacht club is 5 star. The yacht club provides comfy areas for watching TV, playing board games, and nice free laundry area. There is also a laundry room on the South end of the marina. The marina is within walking distance (about 2 miles) of a Winn-Dixie but Wal-mart does do delivery here. I used Wal-Mart delivery several times. Downtown is just a short walk away which has several restaurants and a few stores. There is a nice brewery and rum distillery downtown. Arte pizza is within walking distance and was one of our favorites. Some of the downtown restaurants provide a discount by showing the marina key fob. There is also a small West Marine about 2 miles away. Not alot of options there but we did have items shipped to the West Marine and to the marina. The marina does provide free bikes to use in very nice shape (not rusted out). The marina is also very willing to accept packages you have mailed there. With all the live aboards at this marina they stay very busy with packages coming in.

The price was perfect at $1.70 per ft. We booked with Dockwa and staff were very helpful with responding to questions on Dockwa. When we arrived fuel/pump out dock was very easy to get into. After we fueled the dock guys helped us get tied up on dock and checked us in there. They gave us 2 key cards to get in gates, restrooms, and laundry room. The restrooms were average but appeared to always be clean. Grocery store within a couple of miles. Several restaurants within walking distance. Our favorite was McK's. Check out their website for their daily specials which were very affordable. We also visited Copper Bottom Distillery which is about 3 miles away. Best vodka I have ever had! The distillery is definitely worth a visit. On Satrudays there is a Farmers Market within walking distance. Hours are supposed to be 7 to 1 but we showed up at 11am and the 2 vendors left were packing up so skip the boat work and go early. We were on the end of F dock and wifi worked awesome for us. Marina staff was very helpful. It was very beneficial that they emailed us a map prior to entering so we could see our actual slip. The restrooms/showers are 5 Star and always clean but they are a good walk from our boat slip. The grocery store is within a mile and we felt very safe in this area riding our scooters around. There are several marine stores close to this marina. Boat Owners Warehouse is about 3 miles away but well worth the trip. They have decent prices and well stocked. They had things we needed that we could not find at a West Marine. This marina does have the use of a near by pool but we did not visit it while we were here. There is a food truck on site that was very good with nice seating area where you can watch the ICW traffic. The marina store sells a variety of beers/wines/wine coolers. We did not receive a bottle of wine. Fuel docks are easy to access right off the ICW.

This is a dusty, hot boat yard not a marina. They did an awesome job scheduling us quickly for a haul out when we had a surprise issue with the boat. They are a very good haul out facility with on site diesel mechanics. The restrooms and showers leave very little to be desired. They will allow you to stay on your boat but we chose not to due to the heat and the showers/restrooms.

We love this marina and plan to come back. The price is ok for the area and you get to us all the hotel amenities. There are 2 pools and 3 restaurants. One of the restaurants has live music twice a day. All 3 restaurants have different happy hour times. The restrooms and showers are nice. Always clean and air conditioned. They have laundry facilities, coffee shop, small convenience store, ice cream shop, ship store, and a captain's lounge. One of the best features is you can use the marinas free shuttle. It goes to downtown key west, Higgs beach, and Publix. This marina is close to the airport so you do have some air traffic noise but also convenient if needing to fly out. There are 2 West Marine stores and a Home Depot if needing supplies for the boat. The hotel does offer bike/ scooter rentals. There are a lot of people on bikes in Key West so felt pretty safe riding here. There are also several bike paths around town. This marina does offer free pump out service and fuel. The Wi-Fi service is also free and we had great connection on our boat. We stayed on the far side of J dock. The dock hands were friendly and very helpful. If there were any issues they were quick to respond and were very helpful in docking.

This marina has 24 hour security and is in one of the safer areas of Cartagena. We stayed here for about 2 months. Several other cruisier boats come and go from here also. It is within walking distance to several grocery stores and a couple of malls. It is also within walking distance to the walled old city and one of the forts. There are several restaurants within walking distance and the marina does have a restaurant. The marina restaurant has $5 US burger, fries, and beer meal on Tuesday nights that is very good. They also have a Cartagena cruiser's whatsapp group where you meet new people in the area and can get help from other cruisers. They have two different sets of showers/restrooms. The ones closer to the restaurant are remodeled and kept very clean. The other set left little to be desired but they were completely remodeling them when we departed. The water around the marina causes growth on the bottom of the boat very quickly but there are many dock hands around that are willing to clean the bottom of the boat for a reasonable amount. There are 3 docks and we were on the one closest to the bridge. These boats gets some kind of black crud from the air so we were washing our boat about twice a week. There are 4 marine stores within very close walking distance but it is difficult to find most boat parts in Cartagena. They are able to order things but it takes time. Cartagena is a very affordable place to get boat work completed. There is a store in the marina that sells drinks and snacks. This was very convenient and affordable. This marina also sells fuel. I rated this a 4 based on the marinas available in the area. I feel it is the cleanest and safest marina in the area. Everyone in the marina was friendly and very helpful. The WIFI was amazing a majority of the time. This marina is not a 4 star compared to marinas in the US.

This marina is more of a boat yard. They do have an excellent marine store with lots of supplies. They are also a Honda dealer so we were able to get parts for our outboard.

Very nice, quiet marina. They do let the dock trash cans get piled up and the WI-FI is very unreliable. The showers and bathrooms are good and cleaned on a regular basis. The restaurant has excellent jerk chicken meal and rum punch. There are 2 grocery stores within walking distance and close walk to the airport. Customs may check you in at the marina as long as you make prior arrangements with customs. Unless you arrive within 24hrs of your departure you will need a COVID test when you arrive.
