On first glance this place seems great. Theo and Dominque were great to work with. They saved us a place when we were heading south. But we did not realize this is a really busy charter base for dream yacht and moorings. Lots of activity. The facilities could be really nice, but the mens room was out of TP and did not have working lights for the three days we were there and at one point there was feces all over in the stall. The courtesy car is available but only for one hour which is really not time to get anywhere other than the near by grocery store. You can access downtown using taxi ,for $50 each way. There is laundry facilities, but saturday and sunday the staff were all using the washers so was very hard to get our stuff washed and dried and no one had quarters or tokens. Price was $5.50 per foot which is reasonable for Nassau, but as I pointed out there was much to be desired that could be remedied with not much effort. So overall, we probably will look elsewhere when we return.

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The staff and dock hands were awesome. Dock hands were always friendly and willing to help with any needs. Dock hands did a great job helping get us in but marina made us stop at the fuel dock first even though it was very busy. The fuel was $5.47 before VAT. Electricity was $0.65 per Kwh and they also have water available but not sure on price since we did not use it. This marina seems to be very busy on the weekends due to charter boats returning and leaving. Lots of charter boats out of this marina. Showers and restroom was always open and clean. Great laundry facility and fairly priced. Laundry was $1.50 per load. Dryers also worked great. They have free use of a car but you have to sign up for it ahead of time. Two pools on site and one is an adult only pool with tiki bar. The pools were chilly most of the days we were there but very nice area. They also have a nice beach area with lounge chairs. Great restaurant on site and the Dock Side Café has great lunch and breakfast options with a coffee shop. The marina stay included the resort fee for 2 people for the week. You can add more on to the resort fee and I believe they said it was $11 per day per person. This gives you access to the pools and the beach. There is construction going on in the area but when that is finished it will be a quiet area except on the weekends when the charter groups are coming in. Solomon's Grocery store within walking distance but that is only thing close in this area. The marina does have a little store in the Dock Side Cafe that has a few supplies. Some snacks, drinks, and toiletry needs.

Great spot to set off for the Exumas. The marina is beautiful, restaurants had great food. All the staff was super friendly. The only issue is it is a large marina and services a lot of charters so the walk and wait can be a lot sometimes. It is a little pricier.

Great marina and staff. Nice facilities that you can use for a fee. Docks in good shape. Reasonable fuel but very busy charter base so the waits can be lengthy. Loaner cars available. Not too far to Solomon's grocery. Overall good pick especially to set off to the Exumas

    Business Response:
Thank you so much for visiting us. We are happy we made your stay a great one and we hope to see you again very soon.

It is hard to review this marina. The facilities are nice, but they stuck me in a poor slip - 200 yards from everything, very small, and only 110 volt outlets for power. On the other hand, if you are close enough to use them, they have showers (unisex), a spa, pool, LARGE exercise room (for a fee), cafe, bar/restaurant, and bicycles.

On the down-side, they are about 10 miles from anythiing, but they do have LOANER CARS for FREE (however, you can only use them once or twice, and only for 2 hours at a time.)

The staff was very nice, and very helpful, and the (fixed) docks are in pretty good shape. Overall, a lot of good news/bad news.

Only real draw back is the power supply and voltage levels causing automatic shut down for on board systems, 105v/ 210v on most of the docks, and poor water. Great location, everything else was is good condition and appearance. A little pricey at $3.45ft plus, plus, plus, and VAT tax. Fuel was reasonable and easy access. Recommend taking on fuel before going to dock. The line up every morning is the reason why.

The listing shows largest boat 110 ft. Yet when I called for a reservation they told me that can’t accommodate a boat my size?

    WG Editor Comment:
    Marina Reply:
Mr. Duncan, we sincerely apologise what appears incomplete communication on our part. We can indeed accommodate a 110 ft LOA vessel but due to occupancy of that specially long berth, we couldn't accommodate your 72 ft yacht at that time. We're rectifying our communication policy so it doesn't happen again. Please accept our sincere apologies. We hope we can serve you in the future. If you are coming again, please don't hesitate to call me personally: cell: (242) 422-6086. Demaro Demeritte, Dock Master, Palm Cay.
