Beautiful turquoise waters and pristine beaches. Day stop for luxury yachts and I now know why. Short dinghy ride to Goodfellows (very well stocked boutique shop with fine wines and foods - a lot of Kirkland brand items too) and Captains Table (restaurant, good food and ambience $$).
No shore access or services - except as above in Lyford Cay Marina.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Draft: 4.0'Overall Rating:4Holding:4Wind Protection:3Current Flow:3Wake Protection:3Scenic Beauty:5Ease of Shopping:4Shore Access:5Cell Service:4Beautiful clear water and stunning sunsets. Beautiful beaches to go ashore. This anchorage is mostly quiet and calm. It did get a little busier on the weekends when boats and jet skis would come through the anchorage too fast. There Old Fort Bay resort will not let you dinghy to their beach but just past the Bahamas flag everyone was coming to shore. We did call Old Fort Bay resort and they let us walk through the property to get ashore. There are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. Felt very safe in this area. Winds picked up to 15 to 20 the third night which made the anchorage pretty rolly.
