Very protected docks, most are under cover. Tricky route to the entrance channel, take care to follow markers. A long way from the regular route, better for a long term stay than just an overnight stop. No help with docking. Good, solid docks. Very clean restrooms and showers, laundry no charge. No good walking or bike access to shops and restaurants, Uber required. Good bike access to the network of Gulf Shore Park trails. Good store on-site. No security gates. On-site restaurant permanently closed.

Fuel was 13 cents more than listed. They do not offer advertised AGLCA discount.

I agree and amplify the other recent reviews Great for a night or two. We stayed before and after having work done at Saunders Yachtworks, which shares the same water, but is a separate business. We had a car available to us - so local travel was not a problem. If you need access to provisions or other shops - this will be an inconvenient stop. But is a genuinely nice marina and a great restaurant.

Great Marina & Restaurant - well protected from wind, mostly covered slips, a bit off the GIWW, great service oriented harbormaster (Mr. Forbes). Mostly large sport fishing vessels but also great place for Loopers especially if you need to rest for a few days or weeks. No longer have loaner vehicle as they previously did and Publix is too far to walk. I will definitely go back to OBM!

Great marina, very oriented to sport fishing boats. Only a single free washer/dryer close to Transient docks. Grounds are well kept, good store but limited chandlery. We didn't eat at Fishers upstairs but have heard it is very good. Lots of big boats. Tricky to get in but follow the buoys.

Loved our overnight stop here! Beautiful marina, great dining options! Very helpful and friendly staff. Free laundry machines was a huge plus! Only thing was a non-working curtesy car! We were counting on that, but instead had to walk 2 1/2 miles to pick up a prescription! (We could have called an Uber or Lyft but wanted to stretch our legs).

We love coming in for cocktail. It's challenging to find but 100% worth the effort. Fischer's is great, upstairs and down.

This is an excellent place to stay for any length of time - we stayed for 5 weeks. Well kept and clean. Fuel, pumpout, laundry, restrooms, courtesy car, store and superior restaurant. On-site first rate full service repair work. Staff friendly and helpful. Can't say enough good about them.

Transients who want to spend more than a day visiting the infamous Orange Beach, Alabama area would do well to stay here. Yes, it takes more than a cursory look at a chart plotter to figure out how to wind your way off the ICW, but it is very worth the effort. On site restaurants, covered slips, a courtesy vehicle, boat maintenance of every description, clean shower and laundry facilities, nearby grocery shopping and a post office . . . . you'll never want to leave! The well-maintained, eye-appealing tropical grounds of the marina do much to set it apart from the rest. And if the weather turns nasty, you'll be nestled safely and well-protected from wind and waves.
