After 7 straight days at anchor, I was really looking forward to a long, hot shower. And what's the one thing this marina doesn't have? Hot showers. This is a large marina that definitely caters to locals. There were very few transients and no liveaboards. Their communication is terrible; they would not allow me to reserve a slip and kept telling me to call on the day I wanted to come. They don't answer their radio. A dockhand helped me tie up at the fuel dock to do my paperwork and get a slip assignment in the office. Keep in mind that you will need registration (or boat documentation) and insurance to get a slip here. I was charged by the slip size (35 feet) instead of my boat LOA (32 feet). I was given a map and directions to my slip. No assistance at the slip. Power and water is included in the price. Fuel is a reasonable price and a pumpout was $5. Bathrooms were typical state park. The showers were outdoors, without curtains, and cold water only. There's a nice bike trail across the main road -- good luck getting across! -- but it had a lot of noseeums, even in late December. The park is not dog friendly per the four pages of "rules," but there was a nice grassy area for me to walk them so all was okay. There's a well-stocked marina store and a dive shop. There are also a number of fishing charter boats. The marina is well protected and also well lighted at night. Unfortunately, it's also in one of the approach/departure paths for Miami International Airport, so its not quiet. Overall, it was a good break from anchoring where I could fully charge my batteries, top off my water tank, and pumpout. If I needed fuel, I would have topped off there, too. But there's not much else there and I have to think there are better options closer to Miami.

Good value. Nice park. Difficult to communicate with staff. Tried to put us in a slip that was too small.

Have fueled here several times and picked up crew as well. Good prices on diesel, free water. Friendly dock hands. Well stocked small ships store.

Spent six nights recently, very quiet, not many transients. People were great, well stocked chandlery, $5 pump-out. There are not a lot of facilities, very public showers, single washer/dryer, docks look like they need some major capital infusion. A five mile bike rider into Key Biscayne or $12 Uber, lots of services there. Biked along Crandon Beach, was empty but midweek, can imagine being crowded in summer. Key Biscayne Tennis facility, hosts many tournaments. We used Kyte for car rental and went into Miami, there is a $2.25 toll to get back onto Key Biscayne, not sure what the admin charge is going to be.

Spent three nights as a transient rental. Staff was accommodating and facilities were clean. Definitely would stay again. Fuel prices were rather cheap.

Facility was clean. Took on fuel and water. No one to take lines even though i called when entering the channel. The dock hand that met me was lazy and rude. The second dock hand was pleasant. Luck of the draw.
