Corrotoman River, VA

The Corrotoman is a river of many creeks off the Rappahannock’s northern shore about 11 miles in from the mouth of the Rappahannock River. It is well marked, easy to navigate (watch for the long points) and has many attractive anchorages on both sides and both branches. Widely spaced and beautiful residences dot the shoreline. The farther up the river you go, the more protected you will find the anchorages. One of our favorites is Sandy Point, also known as Ten Foot Hole.
