Boston Harbor Islands National Park, MA
The islands of outer Boston Harbor have long been a wonderful cruising ground. These islands offer history, hiking and geocaching, picnic trails and camping, all within a stone’s throw of downtown Boston (also accessible by ferry). The ferry docks are mostly reserved for off-loading people and supplies with limited space to land a dinghy; however, the beach area on most islands is ample and fair game.
