I counted about 20 mooring balls, mostly in Portuguese Cove. Still plenty of room to anchor. With a strong westerly wind (we had 10-15 SW, gusts to 20) it’s a little rolly but not uncomfortable. Anchor (44# Rocna) held our 40’ trawler fine on 100’ of chain in 22’ of water (at high tide).

It's a very scenic area with sunsets over the Boston skyline and views of many Boston Harbor Islands.
