If visiting in September, make your way to the Ontario side (transportation required) for the Fall Rendezvous Festival held at the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site. This 4-day event offers a chance to immerse yourself in the history of the War of 1812 and the daily life of the early 1800s, through a number of live reenactments including; canon and musket fire, Indigenous storytellers, workshops and more.
