We had light winds, but Mantus M2 anchor was buried in soft sand. Dingied to Spanish Wells to dump trash and pick up some dinghy gas and groceries. Very nice town.
Great spot. Didn't go to the beach, but it looked very nice.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

The reef didn't knock down as much of the swell as I would have hoped. E and SE would be fine. Found good holding in sand at 12'. Easy in and out of Anchorage, lots of room for many boats.

Anchored in 16' with 65lb Mantus and 100 of chain. Decent holding, will swing with current even against stiff breeze.
Not a long dinghy ride to town, go in calm weather. Locals mostly steer clear, had a couple idiots run right next to our boat with tons of room.
Overall, a nice spot if the main anchorages by town are full. Great cell service as well.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
