Any wind with an Easterly component leaves one very close to a Lee shore and we had to move after an early evening unexpected wind shift. Beware the "patches" of sand as most are hard marl. Better holding in the weedy patches paradoxically.
The dinghy ride is interesting though many parts very shallow past the main channel. Surprisingly, our only mangrove dinghy ride in the Abacos where we saw no turtles, rays etc.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
