Aunt Pats Bay / Tahiti Beach North

Description:
There is excellent holding in 5-8 foot depths with good sandy patches in this area. It is a short dinghy ride to Tahiti Beach, which is the "main attraction" for this anchorage. Some boat traffic/wakes can be expected during the day between Elbow and Lubbers. Cell service was good for ALiV MIFI and BTC/TMobile. No WiFi.

Great place to anchor when the wind is from the right direction. Easy dinghy ride to Tahiti beach to the south, or to white sound to the north. I recommend the Abaco Inn to shed the dinghy either at the beach or their dock. They have a great restaurant that you can see both sides of the island. The only downside to this anchorage is all the big yachts seem to frequent this area and the boat gets tossed around from sun up to sunset

Very good holding and lots of protection from NE to S. Additional protection from West from Lubbers Quarter Cay. Lots of options to explore. Close to Tahiti Beach. Weathered a 40kt blow here anchor didn't budge.

We loved this anchorage…Able to go up to hope town with a few mile dingy ride, visit tahiti beach and enjoying the area. Easy anchorage to.
