Super stop when heading up or down the James River. Well protected with concrete barriers to prevent rock and roll from wind and wakes. Very clean bathrooms and FREE laundry. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Did not give 5 stars as there are no supermarkets or great restaurants within walking distance.

Very well managed marina. Great capable and knowledgeable staff. Great floating docks with long finger piers. Heads are very clean. 98 Canon is good, but try BAD Alfred down town for pulled pork tacos and wood fired pizzas. Acme and C-Town Liquor deliver; or you can use the Drizly app for C-Town. Uber and/or Lyft are hit or miss at best with the college out. My young bride says the showers were "spectacular".

Previous posts are on target. Spit of sandy beach at low tide would be great for pets (I don't have one) We were the only vessel here on a weekday with the exception of a trotliner. Saw a couple of sea nettles so no swimming for me. Had 15 kts of wind out of the ESE which kept our bow into the wind by neglectable fetch.\ so had a good night's sleep

Have anchored here several times; great anchorage. Go slow and hug the tree lined shore. Depth improves once inside, drive to the back of the cove, spin, go forward then drop your anchor.

Location description is slightly misleading as you anchor in Worton Creek ACROSS from Mill Creek. One of my favorite anchorages, Extremely well protected from all directions. Anchor anywhere past the fish traps on the western side of the creek. Had 3 ft under my keel at low tide. There is one open wifi signal.

Well protected, quiet anchorage. Of the few small craft passing me all were courteous and passed at slow speed. My draft is 4' and had 2' under the keel at low tide. Bottom is flat and typical Chesapeake mud.

I was disappointed to find out that they now charge for the car despite listing in the Amenities as a "courtesy car". Even with the BoatUS discount I paid $1.90 a foot. That equates to $15.60 more that a nearby competitor. Add $10 and the difference comes to quite a bit more than an Uber roundtrip to the grocery store.

Not good instructions; I found the anchorage hugging the north shore near the inlet just beyond RED 2. Plenty of depth next to the shore. I eased up towards to shoaling area along the north shore near RED 2 and found 6 - 9' under my keel.

Great anchorage on the south side; anchored in 7' under my keel with plenty of swing room. Slightly exposed to wakes from ICW but really did not feel much. Had T-storm pass through and we did not budge.

Would rate it 4 stars except they are now charging $1.00 a foot, power and water included. Nice docks but, to me, not worth the 8 mile journey up the river. Nice folks, gave me ride to the grocery store (1 mile away). This is a shrimp boat port so was able to buy fresh off the boat shrimp - yum!

There are three floating cement docks here, two on Sisters Creek and a third one just north on a side creek I stayed on the side creek. Had 17' under my keel at mid tide..Current is significant and recommend using this dock only at slack tide...

Went a little further north and anchored east between R17 and R15 in 6' of water under me at high tide.(3' tidal range). Have protected gear so not worried. Quiet at night. Some wakes during the day. Saw 2 groups of pink flamingos on the shoreline in the morning.

Great anchorage, in a no wake Manatee zone. just off the ICW. Had 7' under my 4' keel at high tide. (tital range is 3"). Did not go ashore but there is a restaurant across the the way that has boat/dinghy access.

Nice quiet "local" marina. Key is to keep calling dockmaster Ray. He will eventually answer the phone (does not monitor Ch 16) Nicely stocked grocery store on site. Good fishing off boat.

Good holding in sand. Wakes during daylight but quiet at night. Depths range from 7' to 18'. Coming from north, enter anchorage at the Lake Worth Inlet. Coming from south enter between the two spoil areas directly across from Rybovich's boatyard

Best on the Bay. Staff is great, very attentive and friendly. Ammenities are top notch from the pool to the open spaces to the "Eco-path" along the waters edge. Onsite restaurant, Dockside, serves great food at a reasonable price.
