Easy access to small anchorage. Depths seemed OK but most boats in our group grounded in mud at low tide. Was able to power off OK. Really nasty thunderstorms rolled through but anchorage very protected. Best to anchor in the middle of the channel as edges get shallow at low tide. Another boat was grounded at low tide in one of the two marinas to the North of the anchorage (5.2 ft draft) and had to wait for the tide to come up to float out.

Nice anchorage in weather and very well protected.

Anchor came up with mud but chain was clean.

At mean low tide the marked anchorage location on the guides we measured at 5ft while the charts show this at 6ft.

    T mobile was spotty.

Spent a couple nights here. Well sheltered from wind and waves, it's a quiet spot near two marinas where one might presumably get ashore (we didn't need to). AT&T and T-Mobile cell service were both spotty at best. If you need to get off the bay, this is a good spot to seek peaceful shelter in 6-7' of good water. Muddy bottom. Anchor and chain were a mucky mess when they came up.

Location description is slightly misleading as you anchor in Worton Creek ACROSS from Mill Creek. One of my favorite anchorages, Extremely well protected from all directions. Anchor anywhere past the fish traps on the western side of the creek. Had 3 ft under my keel at low tide. There is one open wifi signal.

Nice scenic spot and very protected. Didn't attempt to go ashore.
