Very challenging narrow channel. Came in at high tide, saw 6-7 feet. Recommend using sonar charts and stay close to the greens.
Pet friendly from the spit of land at low tide or the town dock, both dingy friendly. Pizza place within walking distance, closed Sunday and Mondays. Outlet mall nearby, did not visit, have to cross a busy highway.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Stay in the center of the entry channel and the chart plotter depths are accurate. Queenstown public doc is a dingy ride away, pet friendly. Only one restaurant near by, pizza place that was not open on Mondays. Will definitely anchor here again.

Scenic beauty, a sandy spit at the entrance for walking your dog (covered at hight tide), a town dock up the creek where you can go ashore with your dinghy (you'll need an outboard unless you're an Olympic class rower).
Use caution in the entrance - I saw 5.5 depth in the channel near low tide. Other reviews are spot-on - follow the tall tree and water tower as a range line and you'll stay in the channel. I left 0 stars for Wifi, there isn't any. Verizon coverage was OK enough to stream some IPtv but we had a few drop-outs.
Pros:
Scenic beauty
Pet Friendly
Free town dock for shore visits
Cons:
Shallow entrance
Party scene on weekends (daytime only)View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Spit of sandy beach at low tide would be great for pets (I don't have one) We were the only vessel here on a weekday with the exception of a trotliner. Saw a couple of sea nettles so no swimming for me. Had 15 kts of wind out of the ESE which kept our bow into the wind by neglectable fetch.\ so had a good night's sleep

The channel coming in is narrow. Stay close to the greens, keeping them to your port coming in. Line up the big tree and the water tower as range markers coming in and leave a bread trail. We came in mid tide and never saw less than 6 feet under either hull with our dual depth sounders with 21 foot beam. Once you come in stay mid channel while turning to port. Anchor anywhere in the large bay. You can also turn to starboard there is a town dock with 2 hour limit. If not busy we heard that if you call the dock master he may grant overnight privileges. We prefer the anchoring. Dock was great for dingy though. A couple blocks into town you’ll find a pizza restaurant with pretty good pizza. There’s also a convenience store and post office. Heading to route 50 there’s a farm stand one of the local residents sets up during season. Fantastic produce. Once you reach Route 50 cross across to the outlet mall. There’s all your regular outlet stores plus a Rita’s Italian Ice and discount book store ( no nautical books). The Anchorage itself is filled with osprey, fish, and we even saw a cow nosed ray and bald eagle. This is on our definite stop list. We had the Anchorage to ourselves one night and one other sailboat the second night. Room for many boats. Good cell service for both Verizon and GoogleFi.
