A good stop. Although LuLu's is something of a tourist trap, they at least provide on site dining with arcade, gift shop, and live music. A bit of a hike if they place you in one of the "A" slips opposite the restaurant to get to the bathrooms and the restaurant. Fuel and pump out convenient. Laundry present. Didn't use WiFi. No pool.

Easy to book by phone. Simple entry from ICW, well-protected, deep water harbor with beautiful floating docks. One combo bathroom/shower each for men and women, close to docks, with laundry off of women's entrance door. LuLu's restaurant on-site is terrific, with good food, friendly staff and live music.

Wonderful marina that is very accommodating. Concrete floating docks and very clean. Dinner at Lulu's was terrific with generous portions. Enjoyed the leftovers our next day. Their playground area was closed but it looks amazing.

Homeport Marina.February 9, 2022. Sam of WhatYachtToDo on a training and delivery journey. SeaRay 480MY with a 4-ft draft.
Always a challenge getting a hold of this marina. Had to call the restaurant and ask manager to help contact them. Side tie next to rest rooms. Washer/Dryer available and good WiFi. Cell reception is excellent. Restaurant always a great choice for dinner.

Pro: Clean, sheltered marina with good protection. Good power and water. Adjacent restaurant is excellent. Good dog walking

Con: No assistance in docking. Did not answer repeated radio calls until we were in the marina. Only instruction was "tie up at the dock on your right". One restroom when restaurant is closed. Marina office is hidden behind the storage sheds and the restaurant employee smoking area. If your slip is close you hear the restaurants music broadcast 12 hours/day

Conclusion: A very nice marina facility that needs a dose of customer service

Great marina facility and love Lulu's! Only critique is there is a single restroom for the whole facility that I am aware of when restaurant is closed.

We made an overnight stop at the Homeport Marina after our crossing from New Orleans. Always great service great gas prices ($2.69 with 10% discount) and friendly service. Had a delicious snapper sandwich at Lulus for dinner.

Very Nice Marina. We hadn't planned to stay but they accommodated us. Our A/C was on fritz so we got a room within walking distance. Ate at Lulu's food was good with live music. Each time we filled up they were very helpful docking & fueling then pumping boat out. We stayed here 2 nights going & 1 night on return trip. Quiet marina.

Awesome experience! Upon arrival, Forest and other deckhands were helpful and friendly and eager to help us check in, fuel up and pump out. Our slip was ready and we had a great time. Marina was clean, safe and roomy. Great service, friendly staff, and clean bathrooms and shower.

This is a world-class facility. Forest was our contact a week out and he greeted us at the fuel dock when we arrived, making sure we had plenty of space to approach and dock, despite the high amount of holiday traffic hoovering around the marina docks. Forest and Ken ensured we had an information sheet on the marina and its full menu of services (including shower room door codes and internet passcode) as we were directed to our slip. When bad weather threatened to delay our departure, Ken ensured we had no problem reserving extra days at a slip. BoatUS discount was offered before I could ask and the rate was reasonable. The facility has its own security patrol. It is cleaned daily, garbage cans dumped, grounds and landscape maintained, etc. We enjoyed the food and entertainment at Lulu's Restaurant. Uber rides to other local attractions and restaurants were all under $15. We'll be back!

I agree with the majority of reviewers. This is a small, but VERY nice marina. It is directly off the ICW, and depths were no problem for my 5.5 ft keel. The transient dock is L-shaped, is immediately to starboard as you enter the marina, and continues around to the right. It is a floating dock (and sits a little lower than most floating docks I’ve seen.) Looks to have capacity for about 6 average boats, but mine was the only one there during my stay. There are cleats and pedestals with 50 W power and water at reasonable intervals. If you dock close to the entrance of the marina, the way I did, you will get mild wake disturbance as boats go by. However, if you dock around the corner, there shouldn’t be any wakes felt. Also, the showers/restrooms are around the corner, so you will be right next to them. There are only one each for men and women, but I don’t think anyone in the marina other than transients use them, so no waiting!

There is a highway overpass close to the marina, but I heard little traffic noise outside of my boat, and none from within. The marina also has a sand filled play area with volleyball court, and a very large climbing obstacle course that wasn’t open during my stay.

There is a rather nice restaurant/bar as part of the marina. It is very quiet during the week, but gets busy on Fridays and Saturdays. They also have live music! Best of all, it closes up by 8:00 pm, so no noise late at night. There is another restaurant/bar across the ICW for easy dinghy access.

The town itself is a pretty nice resort town, too, though I didn’t get to explore much. The marina has WiFi, but reception is the usual dicey. There is also a library a mile or two from the marina (across the overpass) for better WiFi.

This was the first marina I encountered going East where prices were higher than $25/night or $1 per foot, but you get what you pay for. This place was really worth it. Highly recommended.

Terribly disappointed. 5/16 service non existant. Reservations and destnation to stop at Lulu's for dinner. Put as far from Lulu's as possible on far side of basin while all face docks empty. No offer for wifi or heads. Live a boards make you feel intrusive. Lulu's fun but overpriced machine chain restaurant. Very expensive disappointment. Not what I anticipated from previous reviews.

This is a MUST STOP marina. Great facilities, restaurant and tie up. Lulu is Jimmy Buffets sister and, I gotta tell ya "parrot heads" abound. Access is easy and there were plenty of transient slips.
