Wonderful marina that is very accommodating. Concrete floating docks and very clean. Dinner at Lulu's was terrific with generous portions. Enjoyed the leftovers our next day. Their playground area was closed but it looks amazing.

This is an excellent anchorage just off the river. Plenty of water on the turn up and follow the riverbed a little ways in. Then we moved closer to shore to get into shallower water. Anchored in about 12 feet of water. A sailboat followed us in and anchored nearby. There is some highway noise but a small price for such a nice anchorage.

This marina is top notch. Entry was about 6 feet and then plenty of water in the marina. Kim is a very helpful manager. Easy to access the fuel dock/pumpout. Very nice ships store with lots of goodies and ice cream. Two hour courtesy car was great. The Red Barn restaurant is very good and busy (get there early). The restroom and laundry facilities are very clean and four washer/dryers available. The Demopolis Yacht Basin is now only for commercial tows according to Kim.

A very interesting stop utilizing the well marked channel. It is around two miles in and it is imperative that you stay in the channel. You are rewarded with a friendly staff, a courtesy vehicle and an educational experience on pearls and pearl farming. If you have the time and the vehicle go to Log Cabin restaurant for some great southern cooking.

We spent four nights here and the facility and staff was a pleasure. Two courtesy cars for customers which we utilized. Changed our oil there and they have a disposal tank. Nice full service yard and ships store. The restaurants were very good. And of course if you come here you must go to Patti's Restaurant for the pork chops.

Very good customer service from the moment we pulled in. The restaurant/bar and the food was very good. Although they do close early. Facility was clean and in good shape. Depth was good.

This is a wonderful anchorage that is well protected but the entry should be taken cautiously and slow. Water depth near the entrance is shallow. Once you enter a good holding mud bottom.

Super convenient coming out of the lock. Well marked channel to enter the marina. Very clean state park and marina. A little bit of a walk to the lodge and restaurant. (We needed a nice walk after a long day on our trawler.) A ride was offered. Good food and friendly staff.
