Stayed 11/22 . Staff available to catch lines for this solo looper which was very nice. Good direction coming in to marina. At almost winter pool water was a little skinny in one spot, 5'2" but most 6' or more. Great restaurant on site, a few supplies in marina store. WiFi good.

The dockmasters at Clifton Marina went the extra mile to accommodate several Looper's. They asked us to slow down to arrive after 1600 so they could use all of their fuel docks for overnight dockage. The marina is a bit tight, but quite manageable, and the floating docks are quite stable. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant onsite has a broad menu of bar foods and southern dishes. The Friday night we were there they had live music. The marina is clean and there is a small ships store on the premises that sells snacks and beer/wine. We did not use and of the facilities, so we cannot comment. The grounds are pet-friendly.

Very helpful, friendly team at Clifton. They were working hard to accommodate all the loopers coming in. Excellent food at the restaurant in the marina. The listing says no pump out, but we got one when we left. Laundry is in the one restroom with the shower in the Marina office. We walked into Clifton and talked to some friendly people but there were no businesses other than a pharmacy. The only bar in town is in the marina. I'd stop again for the people and the food.

Perfect example of a small family owned marina where the onsite owners work very hard to make sure their transient guests have a good experience. Very busy with Looper traffic, they worked very hard to accommodate everyone. The onsite restaurant is first class- we stayed 2 nights and ate 3 meals there because it was fantastic. Some of the best desserts on the entire loop. Tight entrance but nothing unreasonable.

Excellent stop as we worked our way back to Knoxville TN on the last leg of our Great Loop. We hunkered down here for 2 days as Hurricane Francine made landfall and pushed rain and high winds up the TN valley. For added protection, was given a covered slip - which was MUCH appreciated. Easy access to the fuel docks. Marina is extremely well protected from wind. All personnel were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. The restaurant was outstanding as well. We will stay here for sure on our next trip down the TN river,

We stopped here Oct. 23, 23. We were docked close to the restaurant and bar, but I think all the slips are close as the marina is pretty small. We had excellent service from the staff and the bathrooms were clean. Food was good at the restaurant. There wasn't a lot of space to take the dog for a walk, but it all worked out.

Cute little marina with old school vibe. Facilities a little worn but it was comfortable and not a deterrent to going back when in the area. The transient dock is right at the outdoor restaurant, which we decided is in the top 3 of all the marina restaurants we have dined at. If you happen you be there on Prime Rib night go for it. It was excellent and very well cooked. They have karaoke some nights as well which was a hoot. Great stay.

If you like small marina's with character, this is it! Great bar with food that stayed open even after closing for us with great specials including prime rib! Entering with low water levels can be a little daunting but totally doable. Limited transient slips so reserve early! Large laundry machines are located in one of the two unisex bathrooms.

Very friendly staff and terrific service. Easy in and out through the narrow but adequate channel, with 6-7' of water everywhere we went. Restaurant was great, but closed at 6 PM on the late-season Monday we were there. As others have mentioned, the bathroom/shower/laundry all in one room is a little odd, but it wasn't busy and was totally fine for us. Easy walk into Clifton, which is very pleasant, but not much to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Food was good. No water at the dock. They will tell you they are fixing it but after reading back through these reviews that seems to be questionable. The shower/bathroom/laundry is shared with the restaurant. So I didn't feel like I should use it when the restaurant was open.

Called to get fuel and they said don't come in, told us to drop anchor and call around 6pm. Guess the pontoon boats take priority over a 45 ft boat that will take 400 gallons. Not sure why the loopers like to stop here and take the punishment from an owner that is not really big boat friendly. Very disappointing

Clifton Marina is also a campground. They have floating wooden docks, a restaurant and a single bathroom/shower with one washer/drier (all in one room). We enjoyed cocktails, truffle fries and quail bites (wrapped in bacon) at the restaurant, though it was pricey. Unfortunately, they forgot to unlock the deadbolt so we didn't have access to the bathroom/shower in the morning. We had power but no water at the dock.

Store has a little bit of everything. Transient dock close to facilities and restaurant. $1.50/foot or $1.25 with AGLCA discount. Excellent WiFi ( but there in the off-season). Easy in and out. Only complaint is that the toilet, shower, and laundry are a bit crazy. This is only one of each and they are in the same room! (Only reason it's not 5 stars)
The restaurant is great! Friendly staff and wonderful food. Do not eat on your boat!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Nice stop along the Tennessee River. Descent restaurant with friendly staff. They really work to take care of you here. If leaving in the morning and it is a little foggy in the marina stay until it lifts. We left with 5 other boats in light fog and were totally blinded within a half mile. Less than 75 feet visibility.

Stayed three nights at the new and improved Clifton Marina. Owners and staff are working hard to provide all their guests an enjoyable experience. They have a new website that you can look at the restaurant menu and learn more about the Marina. They have a band playing Friday and Saturday night at the new outdoor bar. Website tells who will be performing.
