We passed 1.5 after full tide. We are 63 plus flexible antenna. There is a barge obstructing the bridge span. We cleared the bridge but there is a cable hanging on one side we tried to avoid. There is also fixed light that is hanging at least 2-3ft below the bridge. We hit the light and lost our wind instrument. Talked to bridge phone numbers before and they said no issue it's 65ft. We could not slow down as we had outgoing current.

Very helpful bridge operator. He asked for USCG number and name of the boat. As it was holiday weekend he waited till couple of boats were together to close the road and open the bridge. We only needed to wait 10min or so.

We had couple of boats passing in the morning into channel. No wake, very calm night after storm passed.

We were only 2 boats here, space for maybe 3-4 more. There was some current but not much, very quiet anchorage, almost no boat traffic. We needed to try couple of time to set the anchor, managed on 3rd try. Usually we have no issues with setting anchor. Would stop again if the city dock anchorage that is prettier is full

Nice marina a bit away from everything. They were able to accommodate us short notice prior to bad weather.
Marina staff offers very different customer experience. The older gentlemen and couple of younger guys had great attitude and were willing to help. The lady named Mary was nowhere to find on Saturday morning, several groups during mooring needed to wait to refuel. The BoatUS discount was not applied to our bill, she was unwilling/unable to help.

Marina Review for St. Augustine Municipal Marina

The town of St Augustine is worth a stop but marina and moorings could be better run.
We were on the mooring on south field and the current against the wind makes the moorings downright dangerous. We were on mooring No16 and got damage on our boat due to mooring constantly getting stacked under the hulls no matter how we adjusted it. The mooring safety rub rail came off exposing sharp screws. We informed marina staff and they could not care less.
We also witness a monohull beeing grounded while in slip, hanging to one side, no actions were Thales by marina staff. We will be back to St Augustine but won't ever stay on mooring again.
The reason for 2 star is that St Augustine is worth a visit, otherwise it would be 1 starView location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
