No wake and we only danced a bit on our anchor when wind picked up in the morning and it was wind against current. No bugs.

We didn't anticipate the bad weather. Due to the current and the wind we danced on the anchor and had to relocate and reset the anchor in the dark twice. once set properly the hold was solid despite the current and high winds. Until the bad weather we had a beautiful evening and we were gifted of of the most beautiful sunsets ever where the entire shy turned orange. Marsh grass was on either side and there was no shore access. We shared the anchorage with one other vessel but we had plenty of room to ourselves. We would anchor there again and look forward to a better stay in better weather!

We were anchored here in a thunderstorm passing and with opposite tide and wind. We were doing lots of dancing on anchor but we hold without of issue. Very scenic anchorage with no wake coming of ICW even with couple big boats passing with big wake.
Lots of bugs after the evening thunderstorm and night rain. Would definitely come back but make sure our hatches are closed after darkView location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We shared the anchorage with one other boat. The same reversing current as everywhere along SC coast. No wake to speak of off. A few crab pots, but they are not an issue.

Some traffic cut through but not bad, very foggy overnight but cleared fast - and we were buzzed by a large dolphin pod - so cool!

Moderate trees only along the southern shore. Good spot to poise for an early arrival if going north to Georgetown. Had a rough night though because winds gusted to 30; higher than predicted. Santee, Minim, all anchorages in this region of Georgia have few or no trees in the marshlands so you just don’t want much wind if you stop here overnight.
