We anchored in Maule Lake for 3 nights (which was great) and we went to the marina when we needed diesel, water and a pumpout. The staff is so helpful and kind! Alex helped us at the fuel dock and she was wonderful! This is a nice marina with very well maintained floating docks. The lake provides a peaceful anchorage but we would definitely consider staying at the marina on our next time here just because of how nice everyone is. And everywhere we went in the area (Aventura) we felt welcomed and were treated so well. We really enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful place with a very nice dock wall and lovely scenery. The lighthouse and palm trees are so pretty! We were here on a Tuesday and had it mostly to ourselves. Come early in the day. The name should really be Boca Mosquito!! I'm serious this is where ALL the mosquitoes live. Do not attempt to do the walk path without tons of heavy duty bug spray. There is no breeze inside the path due to the vegetation so nothing to stop the bites! Also, be aware of the lizards. They are plentiful, all sizes and all over the place. There is also a lot of trash on the ground. :( very sad that folks would leave their trash in such a beautiful place but they do. It's still a very cool place to visit and a unique experience.

We really loved staying here on the fuel dock. Planned on one night and stayed 3! The staff is super kind and helpful (Thank you Brad). There are restaurants and nice walking paths nearby. There is an Amazon package drop at Right Choice Pharmacy in walking distance. You do get a few wakes but it is a minimum wake zone. It wasn't too bad. There are no showers, laundry or pumpout but the water and electricity is included in the price for the slip. It's very reasonable for the area. The facility is very well maintained and taken care of. The staff take pride in how the place looks. Highly recommend if you need a stop and a nice restaurant meal.

Literally the worst experience we ever had at a marina. Ugh! We needed a pumpout and water and planned to eat at their restaurant (that looked cute and had a nice menu). We called ahead and the office said the dockmaster would come help us get in. He did not. We got ourselves tied up and then he showed up. He was so awful. No help, rude, just miserable. We decided to just get out of there and not try their restaurant. Additionally the marina gets insane wakes from passing boats. They seem to speed up as they pass this marina. Maybe the locals don't like this place either?? The dockhand came back over when we were finishing up and he just started undoing our lines. He said nothing. Our engines weren't even on and our water tank port was still open. Thankfully we made it off the dock. I don't know if the issue there is people hating their jobs or what but we will never go back and do not recommend to anyone.

Seriously the kindest staff you will ever meet! This is the Chick Fil A of marinas. Every person we came into contact with just wanted to do anything they could to make us safe, comfortable and happy. The owner was on site every day checking on everyone. And Jekyll Island is the most wonderful place to visit. Do not miss Driftwood Beach! The marina lends you a golf cart and you can go all over with it. The shopping district and historic districts are wonderful. We plan to make this a yearly spot to visit if not more often! Loved it!

This town should be on your list to stop and hang out. The Provision restaurant staff is beyond sweet. They couldn't have been nicer and even offered us free ice. The food was great! We love this little town. We walked down to the Fish Peddler and got fresh Trigger fish and then to Burney's Bakery for donuts. We got fresh bread from The Cheese Shop. Tons of places to shop here and they even have drop in yoga classes on the docks! Beautiful town to explore and super friendly people.

Hated it. Think of putting your pillow and blanket on the shoulder of I95 and trying to sleep there. That's this place. Constant wake from passing cargo ships and tide changes and current. The huge dead duck circling our anchor should have been an omen. Did not sleep much. If you're desperate I guess do what ya gotta do but it's seriously awful. Secure everything because it will get tossed around.
