Observed the Red marker in place. Green was missing, though could see it's concrete footing.
Did not anchor here. Layed Chesapeake City, departed 0400 to catch Del ebb tide. C&D canal well lit, not a bad transit in the dark.
Rating all 4 , did not anchor here.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We did not have any issues with wakes from the shipping channel and had a very restful night. Current is swift but holding was great in thick mud.
Very convenient landing before transiting the canal with favorable currents.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Think of putting your pillow and blanket on the shoulder of I95 and trying to sleep there. That's this place. Constant wake from passing cargo ships and tide changes and current. The huge dead duck circling our anchor should have been an omen. Did not sleep much. If you're desperate I guess do what ya gotta do but it's seriously awful. Secure everything because it will get tossed around.

Jetty blocks most of the wakes. No wind protection. Strong current .5-1kt overnight. Leave room to swing. Shore & pet access on mainland using the boat ramp with docks and a small beach. Nearby Inn with restaurant. No other commercial buildings. T-Mobile has 2bars of 5G
