I arrived into Beaufort and discovered my drip-less shaft seal was leaking. Steve at Town Creek Marina came to the boat, which was at Homer Smith, verified the parts needed and scheduled us for the repair a few days later… just waiting for the new seal to arrive. I can't overstate how well Steve and his team treated us and how quickly they got us repaired and back on our way. I would highly recommend Town Creek for any repairs you may need (full service repair facility). We also stayed 1 night at the marina and the facility was great, they have a curtesy car, they can fuel you at any slip, and the walk to downtown Beaufort is not too bad.

Great marina. We had planned to stay for 2 nights but soon after arriving discovered we needed to repair a shaft seal. Matt and Dan worked their magic allowing us to extend our stay for over a week until we could get into a service yard to make the repair. Good floating docks, courtesy car, free laundry, great lounge and only 3 blocks to downtown Beaufort. I would recommend staying here over any of the marinas on Front Street.

Walt and the staff at MBYC are top notch. They had a great winter program (mid Nov thru mid Apr) to keep our boat as we waited for warmer weather to continue our travel north. Well protected marina with good floating docks, pump outs at each slip and very low fuel cost. They were very helpful in finding supplies as we worked on a long list or projects. The full timers welcomed us like we were members - including us in many of their social events. Highly recommend!

We had a great 3 month layover at Lady Island. Great location with only a short walk over the bridge to downtown Beaufort. Walking distance for groceries, hardware, liquor and several restaurants. The famous Fillin Station was close enough we could hear the music from the back deck of our boat. Tom and Aaron were great and I will stay here the next time we are coming through.
