I called multiple marinas asking about propane. Daniel here at Town Creek was the only helpful guy in town! Really nice service. We got diesel, water and they let us use their courtesy car to go to Ace and fill our propane tanks.

Great location. Right off ICW. Well protected. Tied up to T- head. Floating docks in excellent condition. Light traffic from small boat launch just past Marina, but not bothersome. Staff was attentive and helpful. Clean, climate controlled restrooms and laundry room. 2 washers and 2 dryers all in working order. Courtesy car (Ford Escape) was always available when needed. Wonderful restaurant, City Kitchen, on site. Great food. Great service. Always busy. Make reservations! Tiki bar and patio opens at 3:00 on days restaurant is open. Easy walk to downtown Beaufort- restaurants, shops, ferries. Highly recommend visiting Maritime Museum downtown. Also enjoyed a visit to Bonehenge Whale Center (must make reservations) which is a short walk from Marina.

This was an excellent marina - great floating dock's great pricing & discounts, and outstanding personnel on the docks and in the office. So much to enjoy here - we had planned to stay for a 3-day weekend, but work demands forced us to expedite our Trip to Norfolk. We used the courtesy car for much needed provisions run to the Piggly Wiggly, then had a very enjoyable walk to the Beaufort water front for some shopping and dinner. Well stocked ships store- glad they had our Starbright rust remover. Wish we could have stayed much longer - next time we will, for sure! Love this town and this marina. Highly recommended !

I arrived into Beaufort and discovered my drip-less shaft seal was leaking. Steve at Town Creek Marina came to the boat, which was at Homer Smith, verified the parts needed and scheduled us for the repair a few days later… just waiting for the new seal to arrive. I can't overstate how well Steve and his team treated us and how quickly they got us repaired and back on our way. I would highly recommend Town Creek for any repairs you may need (full service repair facility). We also stayed 1 night at the marina and the facility was great, they have a curtesy car, they can fuel you at any slip, and the walk to downtown Beaufort is not too bad.

This marina puts in the extra effort to make their customers happy. It's the second time that we have stayed there, the first time was 2 1/2 years ago. This time we knew there was some bad weather coming and that we would need a safe place to stay for three nights. They found a way to accommodate us. Thank for very much...

One of the best marinas on the ICW. You will see it just after passing under the highway bridge (if you're headed south).
The restaurant on site is fabulous The owners, Carol & Steve ended up sitting at the table next to us in the restaurant and we had some good conversation. The courtesy car is a real plus and everyone was super friendly. Plan to stop here......you won't be disappointedView location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Awesome marina with amazing customer service. They attended to all our needs, especially given that the first mate has a foot injury (they brought us steps to get off the boat easier instead of our ladder). They have a courtesy car that we used to drive around Beaufort and get groceries. There's a tiki bar and restaurant on site (closed Sunday and Mondays). The place is very well maintained. A definite 5 star! Oh, and you can fuel at the dock (diesel).

We spent 2 days at Town Creek Marina in Beaufort NC. It is a pretty, quiet, clean marina full of friendly folks. They have a small laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers (1.75 to wash/.75 to dry). The restroom/shower rooms are also clean but there are 3 showers with no privacy between them so you either have to undress/dress inside the shower or out in the common area so I opted to shower on our boat. They have a restaurant on site but it is a bit pricey. Art Oliver took the courtesy car to Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is no cost to borrow the car but they request you top off the gas tank when you are done. That was only $5. The downtown area is a little over a mile walk. However, part of it is along the busy highway with no sidewalks so we did not go into downtown.

We stayed for one night at Town Creek Marina. Chase and the other staff are courteous, friendly and efficient. The facilities (bathroom/showers, laundry and ships store) are nice and clean. They also have fuel at the dock. Unfortunately, the on site restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays so we didn't have a chance to check it out. We used the courtesy car to drive to the local Food Lion and tour downtown. It's really cute. Next time we'll need to stay longer.

Town Creek Marina's owners, Carole & Steve are some of the kindest marina owners we have ever dealt with. With their amazing team to name a few "Daniel, Walker, Al, Sebastian & Chase" are all there to make you stay, repairs or anything a great one. TCM has had a major face-lift with brand new first class floating docks, newly dredged to 8-11 mlw, fuel in slip and many many more improvements. TCM also has a small but efficient work yard and they get the job done, I would like to add they do some of the best bottom jobs I've seen. The marina is a little off the beaten path but well worth it, also take into account that there is almost no tidal flow making docking a cinch. There is a great restaurant and bar on site and they also have a courtesy car with West Marine and everything you need close by. To all the TCM team Annie, Salty Dog & Eric on "Drunken Monkeys" Thanks you.

Five star indeed -- we visited Beaufort on our northerly AICW trip and have to rate Town Creek with all superlatives. Angel is a catamaran and we arrived at the face dock with great radio communications and assistance catching the lines in a stiff breeze. The facility is well maintained and clearly is continuously being upgraded. The courtesy car is a great amenity. The Tiki Bar and City Kitchen are both fabulous with outstanding food and a super team of servers.

We docked along with Tortuga Dec. 19th to weather out another Northeaster. We enjoyed all the amenities and beautiful Christmas decorations mentioned in Tortuga's comment. We also required assistance with two engine issues and Jeremy, one of Town Creek's mechanics, was very professional and knowledgeable. After weathering the storm we planned to continue south on Dec 23rd but couldn't start our engine.
After trying several possible solutions with no success, we were faced with the prospect of waiting until Jan. 2nd for the service department to reopen due to the Christmas through New Year holiday. Steve, the service manager, made several calls to help find answers for us. He also called Jeremy, his mechanic, to let him know of our situation. Even though it was the Sunday before Christmas Eve, Jeremy came in on his own time, and spent several hours rectifying the problem. We were able to leave the next morning. We would also like to mention that Town Creek's new floating docks provide an excellent place to tie up. In summary, we recommend Town Creek Marina as THE Marina to stop at in Beaufort, N.C.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Daniel recommended more protected slips to weather 40+ storm. He & Carol assisted with docking. We also needed help with trouble-shooting a starter problem, before heading out for holiday shut-down, they fit in a visit with very reasonable service rate. Very friendly staff helped us dock. Rate was average for the area with BoatUS discount. The marina is undergoing renovations there are significant issues with some of the docks, fuel, etc.The dock boards and cleats pulled off from the dock when I tied one of my dock lines to it. The owner's know the conditions of their docks, the dock hands stood next to my boat when the cleat and board pulled up from the dock as I tied my line. They gave an embarrassed laugh then suggested I tie up to the piling. The bathroom was average, maybe even below average. There was no toilet paper for an entire day even after the staff was notified. There was no soap for two days even after the staff was notified. There are no paper towels, only a hand dryer - shaving, bushing teeth, etc. require bringing your own towel. There is NO electricity in the bathrooms; no electric shaver, no hair dryer. The showers are very small. There are 3 showers, but only space for 1 person to dress/undress/dry themselves. The worst part of the experience for us was when we bought diesel; we carry Midwest 5 gallon diesel cans. We have carried these same cans for years and NEVER have been able to put 5 gallons into them generally getting about 4.8 gallons up to within an inch of the pour spout. Yet, somehow at this marina our cans took 10.5 gallons! When I mentioned this to the attendant she was very quick to say that the pumps were "state inspected" almost before I'd finished my statement. Made me think that she'd heard this complaint before. In fact, the pumps do not display any state inspection sticker. Draw your own conclusion, but mine is that the pumps are not properly measuring dispensed fuel to the benefit of the marina - 5% benefit!
All-in-all we will not be stopping here again, there are other options in Beaufort and Morehead City any of which will be closer to town than this marina.WG Editor Comment:
Marina Response:
Thank you for your recent review. We strive to create the best possible experience for all of our visitors, so your feedback is important to us.
Town Creek’s fuel pumps are state inspected as required by law and as required to sell fuel. If we were not inspected for proper calibration and quality, we would not be allowed to sell fuel. The meters display an inspection sticker with the date of the most recent inspection.
The electrical outlets were not working in the restrooms at the time of your stay due to a bad GFI. It has been corrected. If we had been made aware that this was an issue at the time, we could have run an extension cord into the restroom for you. The marina will always do our best to accommodate our guests’ needs. We check the restrooms at least twice daily for cleanliness and paper and we try our best to respond promptly when any issues are brought to our attention. In addition, the restrooms are professionally cleaned and restocked twice a week.
As you noted, we are in the process of replacing all of the docks in the marina as part of a complete renovation. After suffering through Hurricane Florence and Tropical Storm Michael this fall as well as several recent nor’easters, some of the original docks have been affected with repairs being made as needed until they can be replaced as well.
We sincerely apologize for the issues brought to our attention and will use this valuable feedback to improve our facility and all of our customers’ experience going forward.
