Reviews said this area can get really crowded. We were the only boat here. There is no, to very little, current and very little boat traffic. Tour boats from St. Michaels use this creek as part of their excursions. Our Manson Supreme set the first time in the mud bottom. Going further North would afford better North wind protection. There are docks and small beaches for pet duty, but realize this is private property. So be respectful.

Very nice marina. Close to restaurants, shopping, and a marine store. We stayed one night and Tom and Liz were great at getting us tied up and situated. I liked this marina and wished we could have stayed longer.

Marina Review for Hinckley Yacht Services Savannah

Hinkley Yacht Services in Savannah, GA is a hidden gem. Even though it is a working marina, we were pleased with amenities that only the big and more expensive marinas provide. We had a tie along on their dock which is on the W. River. This part of the river is also a no wake zone. Which means the boaters come through somewhat slowly.
Hinkley Yacht Services provide, as part of your stay, self serve pump out on the docks, OnSpot internet (which worked flawlessly), ice, free newer front loading washer and drier, very nice bathroom and shower rooms, and a nice loaner car for short trips to the grocery or hardware store - both of which are less than two miles away.
The folks here are all about customer service and how can we help you. I will be sure to stop here the next time I’m in Savannah.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Anchorage Review for Trout Creek

Went Southeast to southern shore to follow shoreline to straight across from the boat ramp. We were here over the weekend (Feb 26, ‘21) and expected a lot of boat traffic. Instead, the cove was quiet and peaceful. Well protected from the South wind. Anchored in 11 feet of water over a mud bottom. Next morning the anchor was full of mud with a few clam shells for decoration. We had taken advantage of the boat ramp to take the pooch in for shore duty. Did not find any water spigots to refill a water jug. Very nice here.
