Great little spot with friendly folks. We actually anchored near the farthest marker up the channel. Town marina dedicated to all boaters. Laundry and shower facilities. Cater to folks on there way north or south. Town is very historic and easy to walk. Great little restaurants and lots of charm. Grocery store about a quarter mile walk from town marina. Easy access to fuel and water.

Great stop on your way to anywhere. Good holding. We actually anchored on the north side of the resort area located on the point. Plenty deep. We cruised the area by dingy but did not go to the resort. Resort does allow access to the dining facility and open bar but not sure if there's a fee involved. Good protection from all sides and very little boat traffic. However, some small power boaters do speed through the channel. All n all a good stop and easy access back to the Rappahannock.

Nice stop. Approach is straight forward with deep water in the channel. Anchoring upwind of the fish plant advisable. Very quaint historic town with lots of charm. Great museum reflecting the significance of the area. Town is quite and even more so with the covid experience. Good access by dingy and walk of mainstreet. No shopping nearby but great little ice cream and coffee shop.

Great little spot. We dropped at 39.12.331N 76.03.585W. Quick dingy ride to floating dingy dock at Fishwhistle restaurant. Great crab soup. Town is a great historic walk around. Very sleepy but quaint and worth the stop.

Head up 1.75 mles further past the small marina at the right fork. Head left to an old white abandoned house. Water is 6-8 fee at low mean tide. Very quite. Stay in channel all the way up. Holding good and protected N, NW,W,SW and S. Great spot on your way to or from Chestertown area.

Pay attention to markers when entering. Its a great stop over option. Very pretty, not much going on, but very scenic. No night activities on deck. Mosquitoes and bugs will run you off. Good nights sleep and headout next morning.

Could not get a good hold at Put in Creek with a Rocna. Lots of silt and anchor would not bury after a couple of attempts. 35-45 blow forecasted so went around the corner to get protection from NE winds. Great spot and holding was good in sandy mud. No protection from E, SW or WSW. Winds came up as forecasted steady 20-30 gusting to 40-45. Didn't move at all. Good weather stop on the way somewhere.

Wonderful spot. A not to miss spot. 6 kts spd from main channel is about an 1 or better ride but worth the trip. Beautiful scenery along the way. Friendly people in town. And don't miss the folks at Blarneys Stone Irish Pub about a 10-15 minute walk from the city dingy dock.

Nice little spot. Don't be confused by depth sounder. Bottom is so silty your sounder will get confused. Substract 3 feet as you move in or you'll be sitting in drippy mud. Bridge tender during our trip in June was awesome. He opens on request and very cordial. Good restaurant and bar at the marina. Nice sight seeing on the river in your dingy. We'll go back.

Abide by entry markers and you're good. Interesting how close to shore the channel runs and that reflects the current. Approach is hard to spot even with binoculars. A hard right turn to enter main entry channel and very narrow. Easy navigation once you can see the channel and approach perspective. Leave room for your turn into the main channel. It's a direct 90 degree turn and parallel to the park beach. Anchorage was awesome during the week. Resaurant not open until Thursdays. Bring your bottle of wine and a little music and you're all set for a peaceful stay.

Great little spot. Plenty of room fo4 the anchor challenged. Good holding. Dinghy to marina dock. Nice little resturant and bar onsite (seasonal i think). Rock Hall town about a 1 mile walk. Nice and quaint. Nothing to write home about. Great overnighter. Protectection from current and wind in three directions.
