There isn't much room for more than two or three boats. Depths vary from 10' to 30' pretty quick, so swing room and scope make things tricky. The mud bottom held great, even in the 30kt winds that were blowing. If you do stop, enter from the north only. This will do us in a pinch, and we will probably look for other options next time we are in the area.

Stayed the night and had no issues. Slow no wake sign is just on other side of island from anchorage so no boat wakes either. You could easily access shore and take dog ashore.

Horrible current that will spin you round and round in an opposing wind. The anchorage is deep as well so you better make sure that you set your anchor right down the middle. You won't get a good night sleep here unless you put out a stern anchor alongside your bow. Upside is that the anchorage has decent cellular reception: 20/5 or so with T-Mobile.

However, after day is done of boat traffic it was calm and had a good night. Strong current outweights wind.

The current is strong, given 4:1 scope. The current will keep you away from the shore, unless there is strong side wind at tide slack.
