Good holding in 8 feet. Chain comes up muddy. Good wind protection and no wake. There is a sailing club and private docks, but otherwise no shore access. One bar with AT&T. Stayed here a few times with one or two other boats, but there is miles of room for more. Good staging spot for coming or leaving New Bern, or a close spot to get out into nature and explore the creek.
