This is a wide creek with depths generally in the 7-10 foot range, although you'll find a few shallower spots in this area. Room for many boats, you'll often have this anchorage by yourself to just enjoy wildlife or nature. It's a good spot coming in/out of New Bern/Bridgeton to just get away from town. No services here. Most of the surrounding area is private. River is nice to explore by kayak or dinghy. Cell service was good with TMobile.
