This marina gets some unnecessary bad reviews. Yes, it can be noisy since it is in the heart of the riverwalk. Yes, no restrooms or showers & yes a little expensive, but...It is in the middle of everything & we had a blast. The dockhand was great and very responsive when we called.

If you want a slip that is 18 feet, when they knew your boat was 51 feet, then rent this place. If you want to run your generator all night, because you have no reliable electricity, then rent this place. If you would like Wi-Fi, then you better back up close enough to Margaritaville to be able to hook up to theirs, and that never happened. Do not rent this place at a premium, all you can get is water and a very short slip.

If you want to be in the hubbub of Destin FL, be located next to a large Margaritaville restaurant and pay $168 for a 45' vessel, have no access to showers before 9AM and after 6PM; this is for you. There's a lot of entertaining boat traffic at sunset, many dining places close, lots of people, and in our case we woke up with French fries on the front of our boat.

$150 for 1 night, 28 ft boat. Bathroom/showers 30 minute round trip walk. And only open 9am to 6pm. Even though located in “the spa”, water pressure was poor and never got hot. My boat’s plumbing is better. Terrible docks. Had to share water hose with 3 other boats. Had to connect multiple hoses to reach. No WiFi. Right up against Margaritaville. Crappy Jimmy Buffet cover band until 11 pm. Very loud. No laundry, ice or other amenities.
Update: the marina refunded money after I spoke with manager.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

If you plan on staying on your boat or have a dog avoid at all costs. The staff were great but our slip might as well have been INSIDE Margaritaville. It was awful. WAY too many people and WAY too loud. Again, staff was super nice and helpful but this place is just too loud and busy.

Staff very helpful for emergency docking when our engine failed, and slip accommodations during repairs. Yet, *in comparison* to the previous night's serene anchorage at big lagoon, I did not enjoy being stuck for 2 days in this bustling development. While HarborWalk amenities & services abound, I was glad to depart.

Late loopers, we wandered into HarborWalk Marina with one day's notice 5/18/16. Steve, the Manager was cordial and let us know it was snapper season and slips were scarce. We arranged for one night. Staff were helpful and friendly, we parked in front of Margaritaville.
Storms came in night of 5/19, no relief for morning. Steve was helpful and accommodating when we requested another night. This was our 50th+ stop on the loop, one of the best.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
