Great protected anchoarge with easy state park and beach access. Dinghy over to Juanas Pagodas for drinks and decent food. Quiet. A few rental jet skis buzzing around but on the whole, a great, quiet anchorage.

If you plan on staying on your boat or have a dog avoid at all costs. The staff were great but our slip might as well have been INSIDE Margaritaville. It was awful. WAY too many people and WAY too loud. Again, staff was super nice and helpful but this place is just too loud and busy.

Free Dock Review for Mandeville City Dock

Great city dock with free 30A power. Just go to the Pontchartrain Yacht Club, fill out the forms, and get a sticker for 4 free nights. Very well protected unless its blowing hard from the south, then you can get some lake swell in the mouth of the harbor.
