Stopped by for fuel and a pumpout. Andy was really helpful with everything. Crew checked out the boutique and said it was terrific. Would have stayed at marina but it was booked already for the Oyster Festival. Will need to make reservation earlier in future. It is very convenient to downtown and the docks and whole operation are very nicely maintained.

Great place - easy docking with very friendly owners and clientele. Bathrooms were clean, close to town and restaurants, and had all the amenities you would need - fuel, pump out, water hookup.

What a gem! We were greeted by 3 dock hands which made it so easy to get settled. Introductions were made all around and we instantly felt very welcomed. Amy was so gracious with her time and information about the town events and restaurants. She loaned us her bikes and offered her personal kayak. After learning about my foot injury she offered her golf cart. The bathrooms/showers were extremely clean and nicely decorated. The onsite boutique was an added bonus. Andy later welcomed us and was not only extremely friendly but a wealth information about the general area. We wish them much success and will be back to visit.

Amy and Andy have made this marina a jewel of the VA Chesapeake. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. The marina does not have a pool for hot July, but has everything else and honor box ice cream. The bathrooms were extremely clean and overall facilities super squared away. Urbanna is a great town for a couple days where you can find great food and some amazing pre-Revolutionary history. Easy 5-stars. We will be back.

Stayed 3 very comfortable days here. We really enjoy these smaller, walkable town with lots of history. The marina facilities were all in good shape in a protected harbor. Boater room, laundry and especially the bathrooms we tastefully done. It's obvious the owners make and effort to run a quality marine and associated services.

We were lucky to snag a slip at URBBY for the Urbanna Oyster Festival this past weekend due to a last minute cancellation. We can't say enough about this marina. The owners, Andy and Amy were friendly and accommodating. The comfortable club house porch, lounge and restrooms were impeccable and well appointed. They have wonderful items in their gift shop. The location is perfect with the town being only a short walk up the hill. The attention to detail at the marina shows and it was well worth our trip.

On 9/12/23 I was anchored just outside URBBY when my wife had an accident that needed medical attention. Not being familiar with the area I went to the URBBY office hoping that they could provide some insight on how to get help. I was extremely fortunate to meet Amy and Andy Anderson who own and run the marina. Amy immediately went into action and started making phone calls to determine how we should proceed. At the same time Andy readied a vehicle for us and said to us " use it as long as you need to." A trip to a "doc in the box" 30 miles away in Gloucester resulted in 8 stitches below the lower lip.
The compassion and concern exhibited by Amy and Andy was extraordinary. When we returned to the marina later that evening, Amy came out to meet us, and kept asking if there was anything else she could do. I must also add that all this help and attention was directed to people not even staying at their marina.
I sincerely want to thank both Amy and Andy for their help on this occasion. All of the comments that I read on both Waterway Guide and Active Captain serve as absolute reinforcement for the experience we had with URBBY and the fantastic owners.

    Thanks again,
    Mark & Darlene

Very nice marina, we came in after a few days in the anchorage. Protected harbor. Floating docks and Andy is very attentive. Two good bathrooms and lounges. Boatyard and mechanic on site if you need help. Several restaurants to enjoy nearby. Recommend Where the Sidewalk Ends (but be patient if you go LOL) and Something Different. IGA is sufficient but not fancy. Nice little town.

We stayed for a night over the holiday weekend. Andy was very accommodating and helpful on the phone when I called to make the reservation. No surprise, he was very helpful when we came into the marina. Very nice facility with new floating docks. Very nice restaurant on site as well as well above average bathrooms/showers. We will certainly be back!

We stayed 4 nights. The owner/dock master Andy was very friendly and helpful. The bathhouse is the cleanest I have ever seen! Wi-Fi available but not that great. This marina is an easy walk (10 minutes max) into the town which has a number of very good restaurants, shops, an IGA and drug store. We ate at The Half Shell and enjoyed the food and ambiance. The IGA carries everything you might want for provisions and there are also a couple of bakery/coffee shops. Definitely worth stopping here, especially if you want to enjoy the beauty of the Rapahannock .

Spent a week at Urbby Marina. What a fantastic facility and town. Andy and Amy will make you feel welcomed. Grocery, post office, on site capable repair facility and techs, some great restaurants and history. Well worth the week we stayed due to weather. Highly recommend.

A GEM of a marina! Andy and Amy, the owners, have taken customer service to a new level! Andy goes above and beyond in the "friendly and helpful department.
Floating docks, large new washer and dryer, beautifully appointed bathrooms, a nice lounge and comfortable seating on the porch of the marina office. They have marine service and haul out on sight and a popular restaurant also on site.
The town of Urbanna is quaint and it is a 10 minute walk from the marina to a small IGA grocery store, post office, several restaurants, a drugstore and several boutiques.
We were quite comfortable during a nor'easter that came through and stayed a week before continuing our trip to Florida. You will not be disappointed if you get a slip here. It is well worth the lovely trip up the Rappahannock River.

Owners Andy and Amy will go out of their way to help make your stay a pleasant one. Great facilities, a nice little town with a supermarket within 2 blocks walking, and a sheltered marina. Also had better fuel prices than most other marinas. Golf cart available for around town and you will be able to schedule a ride to the hardware store if needed. Nice docks and bathroom facilities. Worth another stop in the future.

We were there two days. Great marina. Andy and Amy could not have been more gracious hosts. Town is also lovely. A definite return destination for us. My insider suggestion, A&A were always busy on their projects list (getting even better) so if you don't get them on the radio, try the phone.

Fantastic marina on the Rappahannock. Bathrooms are great, short walk to town.
Floating docs are excellent and easy to get in and out. The best part though is the helpful, friendly staff!

Newly renovated. Floating docks and nice facilities. Easy walk to town for some quaint restaurants and coffe shop. Pay attention to the channel marker coming into Urbanna Creek. If you draw more than 6 feet line up centered. Keep R2 well clear of your starboard. 50 feet is good. A great little town.
