Anchorage Review for Dividing Creek - Natty Point Cove

On day 2 two different local boats came by and asked if we needed anything from the store and gave us their phone numbers. On day 3 another boat came by and said if we needed water we were welcome to fill up at their dock. I cannot say enough about the welcoming people here. Usually they give you the evil eye but not in Dividing Creek. We did get a ride to Walmart and filled our tanks. The holding was great in a lot of 25-35 wind gusts we did not move an inch.
Cell service on Verizon was sketchy, no Shore access (except if people offer), WiFi was just ok did not try streaming. We are on a 42 Grand Banks Classic and our 55lb. Rocna with 100' of chain ( due to winds) held great!
We will definitely make this a favorite anchorage because of the local home owners GREAT PEOPLE!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Marina Review for Urbanna Boat Yard and Marina (URBBY)

A GEM of a marina! Andy and Amy, the owners, have taken customer service to a new level! Andy goes above and beyond in the "friendly and helpful department.
Floating docks, large new washer and dryer, beautifully appointed bathrooms, a nice lounge and comfortable seating on the porch of the marina office. They have marine service and haul out on sight and a popular restaurant also on site.
The town of Urbanna is quaint and it is a 10 minute walk from the marina to a small IGA grocery store, post office, several restaurants, a drugstore and several boutiques.
We were quite comfortable during a nor'easter that came through and stayed a week before continuing our trip to Florida. You will not be disappointed if you get a slip here. It is well worth the lovely trip up the Rappahannock River.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We rolled a little but not bad. We did have a pretty big tree stump drift pass us pretty darn close during the highest wind. Put out 120' of chain with a 55lb Rocna anchor came up clean. Did not move. Storm passed seas calmed and we had a great nights sleep.
