Great place to stay in Solomons Island! A favorite in the cruising community for good reason. Helpful, friendly staff, easy walk to West Marine, great onsite store, pool, pool bar and more. Very protected spot in bad weather, we rode out a front passage here with 40 knot winds but things were calm at the dock. Docks are fixed, wooden but well maintained and transitioning to synthetic decking materials. 50amp power was steady throughout our stay. Pet Friendly stop with plenty of space. Zimmerman boat yard also on-site if services are required.

This marina has one of the best ship stores we've seen. Fully stocked with just about anything you might need. Friendly and helpful staff. Pump-out available at the slip (self service). Gorgeous setting and central to Solomons.

Great location with a friendly and helpful staff. Just about any amenity you would want including dockside DIY pump outs at no charge. Solomons Island has many attractions to see and do with good restaurants nearby.

This is a nice marina to spend time at. When we arrived just missed their "open house" party, but the Owner came up to us and showed us there was still free food (which tasted great), talked to us for a bit. Which I thought was great that he'd take the time to do so. They have a nice pool, although we didn't use it, it's a good size pool. The bathroom facilities are nice. They have a courtesy golf cart that we took advantage of to get a ride into "town".
At the time their diesel was $5.80/gal which I think is reasonable compared to our previous marina a few miles away that was at $7.48!!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Cozy quiet marina, with lots of natural beauty and much needed shade. Brad , the owner and his wife invited the transients to his grilled feast by the pool and made us feel so welcome. Delightful
Needed help for my Yanmar late on a Friday afternoon and yanmar mechanic Chas jumped in and got us up and running!
Could not give any marina and owner and staff any higher rating than Spring Cove

We can echo other recent positive reviews. While we were on a T-head it is easy to see where some slips would be a problem getting in and out and even on and off the boat. The staff was particularly helpful in getting our buddy boat a different slip to avoid these issues after we arrived. Once in place though what a great staff and while clearly not a new facility, well maintained and a very nice pool and tiki area to go with it. Well protected from spring storms and amenities make it a must stop next time through the area.

Wonderful, quiet, park-like setting for a marina. In-slip pump out (self-serve), 3 washer-dryers, heated private shower/restrooms, free bicycles, great bar open some evenings, and food delivery available (via door dash from a great Thai restaurant nearby). Very nice folks running the marina. Setting is very convenient for provisioning. The 40' slip we were assigned was very skinny - very little room between us and our neighbors - with a very tight approach lane. Without a bow thruster we would not have made it in. We tied up stern-to, and had to scramble to get off the boat onto the finger pier. All worth it, however, for the great amenities.

We've stayed here a few years both north and southbound. Quiet it is an amazing little marina with on premise bar and pool. This year we stopped while they were hosting the Caribbean 1500. With charm, fun, polite and great staff this is always a great stop. With fixed docks but small tidal range we were easy on and off Eoti (44 inch freeboard). A nice park like setting around the marina, a place to gather, pool and bar all make for an enjoyable stop.

Our second time here. Quiet, clean marina with amenities. Our anchor light had to be replaced and the boat yard team took care of it in less than an hour.

Stayed here September 6 & 7 2021. This is a great marina. Docking help was very good and really set the tone for our visit. First rate facilities. Clean and friendly. Nice pool and pool side bar....GREAT hamburger!! Self service pump out was easy and convenient. We really enjoyed our two nights here and wish we could have stayed longer. Would love to spend a week here sometime.

The marina is under new ownership this season and they are trying. Still have the same beautiful grounds and pool. Just need to develop a better understanding of boats and their requirements. We made reservations in January for our annual trip in July. We're traveling with 2 other boats yet we were on 3 separate piers. Also tried to put us in a 14 foot wide slip in a boat with 14 foot beam. I'm sure they will get the kinks worked out and we will certainly come back again next year. All the staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful.

Easy docking; protected. Great pool. Pool bar and grill were closed while we were here. Fixed docks - sturdy but tired. At $2.50/foot it is twice the price of Calverts. New ownership. Courtesy shuttle advertised but not running weekdays. No courtesy car; can rent a car for an hour. Restrooms nice.

This is the nicest marina we have stayed in. The ship store is very well stocked. Everyone treats you like you are their favorite customer. Dock manager walks the piers and checks in to see if you are doing ok. The marina is like a large park that is beautiful done. There are lots of great areas to take a dog on a long walk. Fuel is well priced. Lots of very clean restrooms and showers. Both gas and charcoal grills. Large pool with a nice bar.

Outstanding facility with a very warm ambiance. Great pool, deck, and bar with a balance of family yacht club feel. Scenic Picnic area, carefully manicured landscaping, exceptionally clean and private facilities, massive dog walk area, courtesy car, convenience shuttle to town. It has it all, and it is fairly priced. My only regret is I'm not local.

Spring Cove in Solomons is one of my all time favorite marinas. The staff at this place is off the charts helpful. They go above and beyond. The grounds are gorgeous and spotless. The bathrooms have AC and are also spotless. The pool is massive and the Wheelhouse bar make one of the best Dark and Stormy you'll ever have. Tell Will I said hi.

We spent a long weekend at Spring Cove. The service was excellent from start to finish. They were quick to assign our slip and provided help to tie up and check in. The park like grounds are immaculate, as are the shore facilities. They have a nice pool with an outside bar, ships store with all the basics as well as gift items and an extensive book swap. Heads are clean and air conditioned. It is about a ten to fifteen minute walk to the downtown shops and restaurants.
