Florida ICW: Sebastian to Vero Beach, FL

This is one of the Indian River’s most natural and attractive stretches. South from Wabasso, small wooded islands suddenly crowd the narrowing river and create a maze through which the ICW channel twists and turns.
This is a good place to spot manatees and other wildlife. Many islands here are bird rookeries.
Vero Beach is a major boating center and stopover with all the amenities a cruiser would ever need.
