Nice spot right off the ICW with great holding. Room for lots of boats. Rocna 25 came up easily with sticky mud.

On March 19 2025 we expected hourly opening on the hour, but found it only opens on the half hour. Info in waterway guide is confusing as to when we really should have expected it to open.

Anchorage Review for South Edisto River-Sampson Island North

Great anchorage with good holding. Anchor came up easily from clay mud. Not much wind protection if needed, but we had calm night. The dock at shore has private property signs on it, so we did not go ashore. Would definitely come back.

Pretty spot with good holding. Anchor set first time and held all night. 1-2 know current with 10-15 knot winds. No shore access here and great Verizon coverage.

Great marina! We spent 4 nights here prepping for our journey south. Staff and manager (Jeremy) were so helpful and easy to work with. Mobile pump out service for $10, docks in good condition and some being replaced/updated. Marina community friendly and newly remodeled clean bathrooms. Will come again!
