The marina itself is just ok. We were on a mooring ball and used our dinghy to dock. They have water at the dock but no electric. They said they were "between contracts" The staff were friendly but did not help tie up when we arrived. We were required to check in before going to the mooring ball which was really an unnecessary step. The shower/bathhouse is shared with the sailing school and not very clean. Luckily there is a locked gate at the dock. The current is very swift. The view is beautiful, esp at night when the Washington bridge is lit up. We were very disappointed in the Dyckman "town" area. Very run down. Lots of homeless, loiterers, smoking weed and a even a stoner publically urinating.

We really enjoyed this lovely marina. Easy pumpout. Beautiful grounds and nice facilities. Would have given 5 stars if the bathrooms/showers were not unisex. Hate following men. Did not have to go to office for check in which was nice but we never got internet password or other info. Had to chase down dockhand to get codes for buildings.
