Hard to beat free electricity, H20, and dockage. Bathrooms and showers are available and clean 7AM to 4PM located in a nice Park Pavilion approximately 200 yards south of the dock.
The town itself was somewhat post apocalyptic with what were once beautiful mid 19th century buildings constructed during a time of canal prosperity. Now they have failing roofs, decaying foundations, and back yards packed with abandoned refuge. It evokes a maudlin sense of pathos and is undoubtably the result of years of heavy tax and regulatory burden robbing the economy of any last vestiges of vitality. Other than voting choices none of this is their fault, but we moved on quickly.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Tied up to the free wall. Water and power available. (2-30a for us.) However, no bathrooms were available.

Pretty setting in nice park. Power/water pedestals are on the end closest to Lock 12. Nice bathrooms and showers in unstaffed visitor's center, although the men's shower was locked during our stay. Museum is excellent, but there is an admission charge. Few dining options in town, but we were lucky to be there for a summer festival, with lots of food trucks, live music in the evening, and an impressive fireworks show that we could see from the boat. Even with the festival, there was a curious lack of garbage cans here—we had to walk a ways to find one. Overall a great stop and we would return.

This is a great stop. There is room for six boats (seven if you really squeeze). There are three power pedestals: two 30A plugs, one 50A plug and two 15A (120V) plugs. (Signs on the pedestals say that the 50A plugs do not work.) There are bathrooms and showers in the community center building that is passed the remains of the Ticonderoga battleship. Hours of the building: May 1 - Memorial Day: 7 am to 5 pm; Memorial Day- Labor Day: 7 am to 9 pm; Labor Day - October 15: 7 am - 5 pm. There is free water at the dock. Be sure to check out the museum and remains of the battleship Ticonderoga.

Very nice free wall, water and power. Plenty of depth and a secure feeling with the police station right across the street from the park. Bathroom facility's were clean and well maintained although they were closed at 4 pm. They were open at 7 am. We stopped both going South and then when were coming back North a few days latter.

Great stop although slim provisioning pickings. Full power, 50amp, water, all free. Public bathrooms very near by and clean.
