Great stop! Very nice, new docks no power or water - bathrooms at nearby restaurants were good. We stayed on a T-head near Levi's and had a great night. Mexican restaurant was very good and the live music at Levi's was phenomenal! Would definitely stop here again. There is a nice path along the lake that goes under the road. Beautiful sunset.

As far as free docks go, this one is one of the better ones we've been at. Restaurants, bars, live music - all within walking distance. A very nice protected harbor with room for at least 4 boats up to 50' or so. We'll definitely be back.

Great floating free docks with 3 good restaurants and a bar. No power or water. Good protection from weather and most wakes.
Don't expect peace and quiet, it's a very lively place, especially on the weekend nights. We've stayed here twice.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

They deserve 5 stars but there is no power on the docks and no showers. There are local restaurants close by for bathrooms. The docks and surrounding area is great and well protected. Restaurants and a bar are close by.

Nice new docks, with deep water (11 feet in our outer slip), and room for lots of boats. Close to shops, restaurants and a hotel. No water, power, fuel or showers, although there is a porta-potti on the highway side of the harbor. Great free facility and we would return.

The NEW Guntersville City Harbor is awesome! There is an abundance of dock space, depth was in the high teens. We were on the T dock right in front of the dining and retail buildings. They have swings up on the Riverwalk pier along with shops, restaurants, a bar and a brewpub. There are still areas under construction, hoping they will offer more green space for walking pups. They have done a fantastic job in creating a riverfront area for water enthusiasts.

Well protected and good condition free dock. No power/water/restrooms (except for a couple of port-a-potties), but the water is deep and its free.
Downtown is a couple blocks away with several bars/restaurants. Its obvious that there is a substantial investment in the area and it will likely only become a better stop.
Word from the 'locals' is that in the same harbor that the free docks is located, there will soon be a couple of new restaurants and more shopping options. Slated to be completed in Spring of 2022.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We stopped one night with a buddy boat. Free dock in good condition. 10+ feet of water entering between the floating breakwaters. 6.5 feet at the dock. No water or power but docks in good shape with plenty of cleats. A public access dock so a few folks walked by, just curious to look at the two Mainships. There were two well maintained porta-potties on shore, not sure they're always available. Traffic on nearby highway quieted down at night. Easy walk to downtown restaurants although many closed on Sunday. Lots of construction going on to upgrade the harbor so this place will be changing soon.

Lots of room, docks are in good condition. Very close to a busy road, a few restaurants in walking distance but most are a bit distant. You can drop the dinghy and get to more restaurants and a Publix within about 3 miles, going under 2 low bridges. We had a nice lunch, hoisted the dingy, and moved to an anchorage. Guntersville is beautiful, but these docks fall short on the charm scale.

Long low floating dock. No power or water or facilities. But free overnight. Close walk to historic downtown and lots of restaurants.
