Bottom line… DO NOT USE ALM except as a last resort.
Background… Since being acquired by an investment group a couple years ago, the marina has become very unfriendly to boaters. The focus is on maximizing profit at the expense of customers. It began with extremely hostile treatment of a very vibrant live-aboard community that has now driven most away. Rates have skyrocketed to fund unnecessary improvements aimed at creating a "Resort" marina purely for the possible profit. They've gone through 3 dockmasters, repeated problems with laundry, bathroom and shower facilities, and closed the pool several times because they couldn't get lifeguards. Until these clueless owners learn more and stop abusing boaters, steer clear.
