It appears more exposed than it is. I saw reviews about it becoming a washtub but we had 20 knots NW directly into the harbor and I had little discomfort. Beach bar is terrific with great food! Jay was great!
Highly recommend in almost any weather. It's got great protection from wind ne to sw lots of room for many boats just be mindful of the big dock at the channel which is not marked but plenty deep and wide and easy in on gps
