Lots of shore, minimal houses, no town. a great night!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

another 5 star stay! 4 delicious restaurants! Black Marlin has exceptional brunch, try the sampler, you won't need dinner! washes/dryers convenient to the 1st fuel dock. Can't say enough about the dock tenders, they were professionals!

An undiscovered gem of a marina by the bridge of lions! yes it's a little tricky with the tides and currents. Plan your timing to arrive at slack tide. Every afternoon they provide docktail horsdoevres. There is a bar for you to buy drinks. The mariners and hotel people seem to mingle well.
It is directly opposite of the noisy, general public roaming municipal marina. Walk over the bridge and you're downtown. Enjoy a quiet night at Marker 8.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We registered through Dockwa, no recognition, no answering of phone (rang as if phone off the hook or busy), attempted chat to confirm reservation through website, never answered, emailed dock master, no reply. crummy way to run a marina.

today 4/18/24 bridge master requested boat dimensions and each individual boat must radio call. don't know what one would do if radio problems

WG Editor Comment:
If no radio use horn signals: One long blast followed by one short blast.

Really enjoyed our stay. Marina staff were professional and helpful. The restaurant was great! Easy access to Anna Marie Island by bike or walk. Public transportation block away to get anywhere. The island and marina were pet friendly however the Seafood Shack Restaurant is not.

It's open, the docks are new, it has great staff, it has the Lighthouse Restaurant. It is not yet completely ready for transients as there is no laundry or ship store at this time, no walking, bike paths or public transportation to get anywhere, gated community to 1 side, and 4 lane 55mph highway at its entrance. Very shallow entry channel 4-5 ft in sections.

Great marina! No issues with low tide in marked channel. The staff waved us in and we're very helpful docking. If you need access to bathrooms be sure to request close slip(piers 5,6 are farthest, about 1/2mile. it's 5miles plus to beaches. Marriott resort restaurants near enough to walk(not close) Even better:

Wonderful marina! Bob, the owner, is quite the character. He has the only freshwater pearl manufacturing in North America!
As a marina: 50 amp power, water, free laundry, 2 courtesy cars, pet friendly. In season there is a pool and lounge. as you begin the trip into the marina area there is a sandbar he call's home plate. STAY TO RIGHT OF THE BAR, follow the buoys and you'll have plenty of water. If you short cut to left it is sometimes too shallow.
Bob's tour is the best!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
