Well-marked entrance and deep dock spaces. Fuel dock is easy to get to, but shares a space with the boat ramp, and was crowded even in early May. Docks are stable and well-maintained. Nice welcome center, but amenities leave something to be desired. They have coin-operated laundry, but we had to get quarters and soap from the gift shop, no quarter machine or vending in the laundry area. Dryers work so-so, if they don't just eat your money. Restrooms appear to be recently painted, but the water was not warm enough for a shower. General store is 1/2 mile down, winery is closer.

Ford was exceptionally helpful navigating us in to the harbor. Make sure to call ahead before making the approach if your vessel draws more than 5 feet. The club itself is very well marked, but the surrounding areas are very tricky. Harbormaster was very helpful. Grounds are beautiful, and a full bar/ restaurant awaits a hungry sailor. Showers and restrooms are newly remodeled. Very nice indeed!

Beautiful club with easy access off the river. Tie-ups right on the sea-wall. There is an old railroad bridge listed on the charts between the club and the St. Clair River, but it is permanently up. No need to call in.

Most of the staff at Bay Harbor are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient especially for new boaters. A combination of fixed docks and floating. A and B docks are quite a hike to the restrooms, but the facilities are well maintained. Good shower rooms, and a pool (Not open at the time of this posting). The main town of Bay City is several miles from the marina, but it's got every major chain store you can think of as well as several restaurants all down the main strip.
Removing one star because the service department, even after verifying engine model number, ordered the wrong sized impeller.

Cannot say enough good things about this harbor and town. Came in under very lumpy seas and the breakwalls were fantastic. The docks and Harbor area are brand new with great power pedestals and water to dockside. Fuel dock is easy to approach if you come straight in through the channel. Water depth was adequate even for a 6-ft draft. Take time to visit the town. The hardware store is a 3-minute walk from the harbor and has everything from tools to beach toys. Don't forget to visit the Green Clean Bean just down the road for coffee, laundry, Wi-Fi, and the friendliest poodle you'll ever meet.

Marina is simple but well kept. Docks look brand new with great lighting and solid cleats. Construction for more amenities very obvious. No water or fuel right now, operator says they are coming shortly. Staff had gone home for the evening but was available by cell phone to help us get in. Approach is very narrow and rather shallow for deep draft vessels. The north entrance to the breakwall is usable, make a hard turn and stay between the green buoy and the breakwall. Shower areas were clean and well maintained, hot water very nice! If you use the last men's room stall, the plumbing there is reversed. Hot=cold.
