The anti Put-in-Bay. Quiet, relaxing, no rafting. Island is peaceful and quiet. Winery has a nice coffee shop/restaurant with small but nice menu all day from early morning til 5 pm. Nice pastries and desserts. Great venue for parties or a wedding. Opening a bar on premises soon. Lots of outdoor seating as well as indoor. Walleyes is closed for the winter at this time, general store ha great pizza. Great walking as there is little traffic. Don't expect to be entertained, just relaxed. Don't expect to be disgusted by drunks either, that's PIB.

State park marine located in west portion of basin. Friendly staff, easy to deal with but be advised, no assistance available with docking unless other boaters are on the docks to help.
VERY well sheltered, well marked, deep entrance channel. Not much happening on the island which might be a welcomed change from Put-In-Bay. If you want to head to Put-In-Bay, a quick ferry ride is a short walk away.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Well-marked entrance and deep dock spaces. Fuel dock is easy to get to, but shares a space with the boat ramp, and was crowded even in early May. Docks are stable and well-maintained. Nice welcome center, but amenities leave something to be desired. They have coin-operated laundry, but we had to get quarters and soap from the gift shop, no quarter machine or vending in the laundry area. Dryers work so-so, if they don't just eat your money. Restrooms appear to be recently painted, but the water was not warm enough for a shower. General store is 1/2 mile down, winery is closer.

Entrance is marked by breakwaters which have defining red/green harbor lights. It has a minimum of 13 feet of water depth and 100 feet of width. With land on all sides and west facing breakwater, the harbor provides protection from most weather directions. The west part of the harbor is the State Park marina with floating docks arranged by A, B, C. Presenting well, notably the occasional flowers stands, services appear well maintained. Docks are kept clean with power washing, likely do to the Sea Gull inhabitants. Bring your boat’s water hose. State park grounds are well maintained which include playground, camping and grilling. Within walking distance is J.F Walleye's restaurant (currently open Thu to Sun) and local grocery store that includes bar and restaurant.

Best marina on the Lake. Unfortunately, no dock hands helping land, but boaters are always ready to help.
They power wash docks and don't care if they're getting your boat dirty. The docks themselves are cleaner than the restrooms that need a GOOD CLEANING and overhaul. Showers have mold and just not pristine as you'd like. Still, a must stop. No restaurants open during the week, so if you want to go to eat somewhere, you must head over to PIB or do it yourself. Bars are open at night. Still, a must stop on Lake Erie.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Nice floating docks, good staff, clean facilities. The small gift shop is a plus. Shower rooms are plain but clean.

Have stayed there a few times now and always a great place to dock. Very friendly people working in the marina and the desk. Definitely would recommend putting this place on your go-to list
