Convenient stop for overnight at a free wall along the Erie Canal. Newer docks on west end had 9.5 depth and cleats/rings for tie off. Restrooms and showers are great but are located east of highway bridge in the Rome Navigation Center. Close walk to town for food, restaurants and other supplies. Will definitely come back.

Not worth the 4-30-2022 rate of $4.00/ft plus 30 amp electric. Shop around. This is the most expensive marina dock fee I have paid in the last 4,600 miles of doing the Loop!!

Marina Review for Henry Harbor Marina

Henry Harbor is under new ownership, and they are committed to boater customer service. We were not going to stop because of harbor depth listed in the WaterWay Guide (5.0/3.0) but noted larger boats tied to the old Henry canal (1870's) wall so we called the marina and we're invited to tie up on the wall in 10.5 ft of water. The owners met us at the wall, assisted with docking and offered to drive us to town for some grocery shopping, but we wanted to do the 0.6 mile walk into the small charming town of Henry. Well stocked grocery including beer & wine. The new owners have plans for upgrades and dredging the marina to accommodate larger boats. For now, you can get small town charm, canal history, fuel (gas only), and good depth by docking on the historic Henry canal wall.

Free Dock Review for Village of Baldwinsville Docks

Baldwinsville (Lock 24) has it all for the frugal canal cruiser. On the upstream side of the lock, the free dock wall south side (48 hr max stay) has access to 30A/50A power ($5/$10 day) plus fresh water. The waterfront park area is across from the Visitor's Center overlooking Lock 24. The downtown is easily walk-able with numerous restaurants near-by.
