Had better, had worse. Beautiful place to explore when less/no wind. Sea ray and sea turtle hanging out. Hungry Iguanas on a couple of the cays. Remember to bring some food! Few nice sand beaches to enjoy.
Should be great for weather coming from a southerly direction. So-so protection for northerly winds. Great holding in pure beautiful Bahama sand. A little shallow (we only need about 3 feet and even we tapped the sand for an hour during low tide). Stay out of the little bay(less protection)and should be fine. High priced provisioning to be had a mile and a half away at highbourne,
Destination...??? A place to hang for an afternoon/night or on the way to somewhere...certainly. Probably bettter protected anchorages from NE weather near by if calmer waters are desired.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Saw dolphins and manatee while at anchor. Go ashore to get rid of garbage. Bathrooms but no showering facilities or outside rinse. Did not see an outside spigot for fresh water. Had a talk with police and was told that if we stayed over 72 hours(3 days) we would need to be inspected for proper head holding tank setup as you are not allowed to discharge into the bay. Dairy Queen and other businesses about a 20 min walk. From shore.
Anchor held very well.

Very friendly. Busy with rental boats coming and going. Dinghy dock for $5.00 a day. We also used it for an hour on another day and were told no need to pay. A tip is always the courteous thing to do though.
Fuel price a little high.
