Funky little out-of-the-way place. Fixed docks are showing some wear, but still solid. There's a nice outdoor tiki bar and restaurant on site. Marina staff are very nice. We saw about eight dolphins swimming up and down the creek.
The Slaughter Creek approach got down to six feet at one point, but I was told there is dredging planned for this winter.

This place was apparently awesome once upon a time. It appears to be coming back under new ownership, but it's still a work in progress. Many indoor spaces appear to be used for storage.
Tony was very helpful in getting us tied up and checked in. Our 37-foot boat was assigned a fixed dock. There are many smaller floating docks.

Nice floating docks. Restaurant adjacent to the docks. Marina office is by the fuel dock, a short walk to the east. It's also a short walk to restaurants and shops in town. The showers consist of very small stalls with no place to put your stuff. The lights are on a motion-sensitive switch that doesn't detect movement in the showers.

Nice peaceful spot with good holding and good wind protection. The shoreline is residential, but spread out with lots of trees. You'll get an occasional small boat passing by at low speed. Have not seen any work boats in the many times I've anchored here. One to two bars of LTE cell service. Can't address shore situation for pets. Last anchored here 9/21/2024. I'll be back.

Providing an update here: everything Captain Langer reported is still valid. In addition, there is now a free pump-out station. The water was working when I was there on September 20.

First two nights are free. Plenty of room to tie up above or below the drawbridge.

    I won't repeat the previous 2022 comments.
The marina takes cash - no credit cards. They are presently operating on the honor system with a box marked "DOCKAGE" at the steps of the house at the marina. You might want to bring an envelope for your cash.
